Emergency situation. He was on call gynaecologist. He saw me for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The other incompetent doctors at nhs wanted to send me home in a cab while o was in excruciating pain. Dr nowicki came in and was furious that he was not called earlier. Very traumatic for me but this doc was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He really cared about my situation

So. He's not nice. His receptionists are not nice. I'd call him rude...his receptionists are also rude...
He is knowledgeable, like incredibly so... just SOOO much experience and he just knows what's going on!
Does the "niceness" matter? I don't know, I was dealing with a very stressful situation and could have used a bit of compassion but he knows his stuff so at the end of the day, it's solid treatment!

The front staff was completely rude and awful on the phone and in person, absolutely no manners and just dismisses you and doesn't answer questions that you have. just arguers with you. very disappointed as Dr. Nowicki is just absolutely lovely.

Very disappointed with the sectary of this doctor due to putting me on hold for over 15min and then wouldn't fax ODSP with conformation of my appointment so my drive would be covered. Never will I book an appointment with this doctor/company....

He inserted my first IUD and it was the worst experience of my life. He didn’t warm the tools, he didn’t tell me what he was doing or when he was doing it. He just kept repeating, very loudly, relax as his staff stood there and watched. It was an extremely painful procedure and he didn’t seem to care to make it any less stressful or harmful to me.

It was my first visit to Dr. Nowicki's office. Reading the bad reviews below I was nervous about my appointment. I was pleasantly pleased he is not all the horrible things people have stated. He's very informative and has many years of experience which comes with knowledge. He's Scottish with a good sense of humor. I am very confident that you get treated how you treat others. His Assistant is also a caring, funny and supportive Lady. My experience was very positive now just to wait for up to 3 months for results due to the labs being back up but has nothing to do with his practice. Kind regards, Charmaine

So. He knows his stuff- hands down, no question... VERY experienced, and thorough.
His bedside manner is unfortunately terrible. He will give you the facts, all of them, and won't sugar coat it at all. Now, does that matter? I don't know... sometimes when things aren't going well a little sugar coating helps the message...
His receptionists are also matter of fact and can come off as rude but again, they do their job- and well.

I've met Dr. Nowicki for the 1st time. I'm very pleased the way he approached my concerns. He took his time and listen with compassion. He made sure I understand the whole procedure. There's no doubt he's the most experienced OB/Gyne in town and 101% knowledgeable. He's amazing actually. His staff is very considerate as well. Thank you doctor and to the staffs.

Dr. Nowicki is an amazing doctor! I love him as my doctor because he is so compassionate towards me. I’ve had to deal with personal and sensitive issues and Dr. Nowicki helped me through that thoroughly. They are extremely professional and serious, but what do we expect from healthcare. I also like his receptionist, she’s very nice but she can be a little inconsiderate regarding scheduling. When I decide to have kids when I’m much older and ready, Dr. Nowicki will be my doctor. Hopefully he’ll be practicing by that time lol.

The receptionist is incredibly rude and difficult to deal with. They changed the time for my procedure but didn’t notify me so I missed it, and when I called to ask about it she argued multiple times that they did tell me. The appointment I had where the supposedly told me the new time, that same receptionist was the only one working and was rushing around trying to do too many things at once. I understand forgetting to mention it (which is still not ideal) but rudely blaming me for the mishap isn’t okay. Super unimpressed as I had to take medication before hand that’s causing a lot of cramping and now I’ll have to do it a second time.
