I have a rare condition with which he was unfamiliar. He refused to review any research or the specialist reports I brought in, dismissed and invalidated my symptoms and refused to refer me to any other Doctors or for any other tests. As a result, I had to pay hundreds of dollars for a specialist in another Country to provide my diagnosis. If he would have reviewed the information I brought in, this could have been handled here for free and months sooner. If you are a woman, proceed with extreme caution and maybe bring a man in with you or you won’t be taken seriously.

Dr. Schmidt is a wonderful doctor! He studied my chart from the time I was diagnosed in 2011 and was well prepared with questions for me. He passed on so much information to me and reassured me that I was making the right decision to leave my job at this time. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and hope that I see him again.

After being misdiagnosed and sent home from ER 3 times, Dr Schmidt correctly diagnosed me and I was discharged 2 weeks later and my symptoms resolved. Cannot speak highly enough of him.

Dr. Brian Schmidt is a caring and knowledge neurologist. Dr. Schmidt had reviewed my husband's extensive MRI images and hospital records in advance of the appointment. On examination, Dr. Schmidt conducted a thorough neurological assessment and provided us with helpful information after only one visit. We also didn't have to wait for too long to get an appointment with Dr. Schmidt. We'd strongly recommend Dr. Schmidt to anyone who needs an exceptional neurologist.

Dr Schmidt genuinely cares about his patients. He took a lot of time to do a proper assessment and provided valuable information on my complex condition. Saw a different Neurologist 4 times and learned nothing. Dr Schmidt was able to give me great info after only one visit. He had done his homework and had reviewed all my MRI’s ahead of time. Can’t say enough good things about this doctor.

I have seen Dr. Schmidt now on an annual basis for many years. He is always kind, courteous, and helpful. He answers all questions, some of which I haven't thought to ask. I hope he never retires.
