Dr Hughes is very thorough. He methodically works through his testing and carefully analyzes every answer you give him. While I still have no diagnosis, I trust him the most out of 3 other well rated neurologists in the city.

This may be the most genius doctor in this city. I have a couple chronic illnesses, and my appearance usually makes physicians judge me harshly. Dr.Hughes was an absolutely AMAZING physician. My top 2, and I have a long list of specialists I see for my incurable illnesses such as POTS and Gastroparesis. He spent over an hour evaluating me, and truly listened and didnt brush me off like some physicians can when you have chronic conditions. He has a plan for me and set up some investigations and I feel very fortunate to be in his care. I trust him with my life and feel very relieved that he is my new neurologist. He is by far the best of the best .

Best neurologist is winnipeg. I cannot state how intelligent, thorough and kind this doctor is. I appreciate the care he took to help address my migraine. I recently had a consultation with another Dr. Nijjar who supposedly is a migraine specialist. I asked my GP for another referral and really appreciate being referred to Dr. Hughes, he treats his patients with respect. After my other experience, how refreshing to have a doctor with good bedside manners

Taking a patient's history and problems into consideration, he was very careful to ensure that I had not only a clear understanding of my "new normal" after a severe blow to the face, causing a fracture of the occipital orbital and consequently neurological issues (brain damage) from an abusive spouse so that my new normal came with a very debilitating condition called PBA, which causes embarrassing and uncontrollable crying spells, with out any trigger. He was understanding in also finding and sending information to me after the appointment, with a handwritten letter with hopes that I might be able to access other help for my situation. You could not ask for more inclusive care from a Dr Although to date, I have had only one appointment with this kind gentleman, I have been truly appreciative of the effort he put forth in trying to minimize the negative effects on my life through this very difficult transition. I would like to thank him for his kind assistance.

Dr. Hughes is the best neurologists. He answers questions well for the patients. Very polite with others and give as much time as the patient required. He answered all my questions. He always repeat if the patient is confused. I would recommend that go to him if you have any neuro problem. I am no more suffering from migraine.
