She always does a great job with me - usually on time, and is very helpful. I have not had any problems at all.

I was referred to Dr.Ludwig because I was told she was very good. I spent a lot of time with her student, at least 45 minutes and when Dr.Ludwig finally walked into the room, she immediately told me I wasn't doing enough (without even knowing how far I had come in progress). This was disturbing as I had also been dealing with depression and her lack of getting back ground information from me was disturbing and extremely hard. To put it bluntly, I would rather die that be treated like**** again. I was also prescribed the dangerous heart damaging drug, but I had a heart attack just 6 months previous to this appt. So I refused to take it and I decided this doctor was not a good fit for me. She is too busy to pay attention. Great staff though.

I agree she was very helpful and empathetic most of the time. But as many doctor in Winnipeg sometimes she couldn't listen how she should, because she is so busy. Also I did have problems with the resident and he gave me some wrong answers to my questions

She keeps right on top of my medical needs she even stopped to see me in er not becuz she was called but she saw my name on the board. I once went to a diff hospital thinking I was not as sick as I was and they did not know what was going on so they had to call her and she kept in touch with the hosp over my five day stay.. Next time I will only go to see her at St B not any other hosp..

Wow!My experience was mirrored in previous comments.Saw Dr. L's resident in July who stated she was confused by why I was there (massive fat deposits had shown up on an ultrasound) but would not let me see my referral letter.Asked for test results that I didn't have (Chol, Liv func) so I stated I could get them faxed over with a phone call.Res not interested. Then says I am "obese" (exactly 26 lbs overwt), need to see a dietician, and to go off my thyroid med immed as I am PMS and not hypothyroid, and that my chol would be high.In fact, by my reaction I am overmedicated.I told her my reaction is because of how she was treating me.She said "we'll see if the TSH is too low, or if it's personality" and that she did not need to see me again. No talk of sub-clinical hypothryroiodism or any such things.A pre-formed opinion of me.The chol came beck great as did sugars and TSH.Unfort, I did follow her instruct's to go from 100mcg to 0 per day (with no tapering off) and have suffered ever since.

I was referred to Dr. Ludwig and I'm glad that I was. She is extremely helpful and is doing everything she can to make my life better. She is already anticipating what will happen when I become pregnant and always explains everything thoroughly. I am very grateful.

A phenomenal endocrinologist with an unending wealth of knowledge. I would never doubt anything she says. She is a highly touted professional for a reason.

I recently seen Dr.Ludwig well I should say that the resident saw me and after 45mins of going over my medical history she came into see, I had explained to her my problem and she looked at me and said well you need to go on diet...which means cutting out junk food. Does she know what my diet consist of? No because she didn't ask. We talked about my blood pressure and then instead of taking my blood pressure the resident (student) looked at my eyes! I was not impressed with this doctor. She was rude and didn't take the time to listen to what I had to say. Needless to say my doctor is scheduling a 2nd opinion.
