I saw this doctor for several years for my Thyroid. I was never properly treated for it, I was always complaining of symptoms and I was ignored. Her Med student was rude and inconsiderate, I was not impressed. Since going to a different doctor I have been feeling great and do not have to wait for an hour past my appointment.

I have been to Dr Ludwig's office a few times now for post partum thyroiditis and yes it is a long wait but well worth it. She is always able to answer any questions that I have and yes she is straight to the point which is what any good doctor does! People who aren't happy with the answers they're getting maybe aren't asking the right questions or can't face the truth.

I see Dr. Lugwig for Type 1 Diabetes. Shes very short, very critical, you're never doing enough, most of your appointment with her nurse and hardly see her. Overall, I don't like Dr. Ludwig. I feel like she's always annoyed that you're their to see her and she rushes when you finally get to meet with her.

She has no right being a specialist. It takes a long time to get in to see one and when you do, you expect the right tests and some feedback. I had neither. I have Adrenal Exhaustion. I was referred to her for it. She took a morning cortisol test, and tested pituitary and thyroid to rule them out. They were fine which confirms adrenal gland. Then she did NOTHING. No other tests of cortisol even though cortisol is highest in morning for most people. People with adrenal problems have trouble producing cortisol in the afternoon so that would have been when to take it. Even my GP took that one previously. She gave me absolutely NO advice on how to improve the production of the adrenal or even to advise me to see a dietician. My gland was exhausted by a stress even and Ludwig told me to see a psychologist. I AM a psychologist. Her job is to help with my symptoms and physical health. Bottom line: she didn't do appropriate tests, didn't give proper advice and wasted my time. She gets a Fail.

My daughter was diagnosed 2009 as having primary Addisons' Disease (no cortisol being produced), Dr. Ludgwig we were told was the "best". For the last 6 months my daughter has been in and out of hospital 9 times with dangeourly high potassium levels and a blood pressure so low they could not read it. Dr. Ludwig told us she needed to alter her diet (no potatoes, seriously???) On her 9th visit an internal medicine doctor told us that she had no aldosterone being produced at all. This being an Addisonian basic should have been caught by the endocrinologist! In the eight other visits Dr. Ludwig did not once check her my daughters blood levels for the basic symptoms of an Addisons patient, seriously jeapordizing my her health if not her life! The best? My behind!

I had been going to DR. Ludwig for my thyroid for 2 years only to find out in the last year of going to my GP that she was not getting my levels low enough. I had still been experiencing symptoms and went to my GP to try to solve the issue because Ludwig had said it was not from my thyroid. My GP threw in a TSH test for good measure only too find out that it was high and I was still hypo! to top it iff the last visit I had with her the student commented when he saw my weight that "there was more of me to love" it was very inappropriate to comment on my weight gain that way. My GP has now been checking my thyroid and I have had my dose upped twice. I have been feeling better than ever and will not be going back to her should I need to see another Endo.

Checked me for 2 years for problems related to fatigue, sexual dysfunction and low testosterone related to prolactin levels. After tests, tests and more tests, my family MD sent me to see a neurologist who diagnosed me with MS. Waste of time and a huge sum of taxpayer money, I assume.

Dr. Ludwig is a highly competent, thorough doctor. She has a very busy clinic but I never feel rushed. She explains everything well and I know that I am in very good hands. I always leave her office feeling great! How fortunate I am to have her looking after me.

I saw Dr.Ludwig for Cushing's Disease in August and she was very thorough. She immediately wanted to make me feel better. She wasn't convinced at first, that I had Cushing's Disease, but after all the testing, she was sure. After I had surgery, she was on top of my medication, to ensure that my hormone levels would be restored. She understood that I wanted to get back to normal as soon as possible, since the Cushing's changes my body as well as my mind. She's been more than helpful throughout this whole process, and continues to be. She monitors my hormone levels constantlty and advises me whenever I have any concerns!

She always does a great job with me - usually on time, and is very helpful. I have not had any problems at all.
