Dr Nyomba was helpful in the fact that he figured out I was misdiagnosed with hypothyroidism. But he was disrespectful and told my boyfriend to “take me for a walk” as if I was a dog. He told me my naturopathic doctor was “a witch doctor”. It was a bad experience all around.

He was good the last 5 year but if someone got him late or mad he did not care it now 5 years and I wish I got another doctor but he now retired now

i felt like i was dismissed and felt like i was not treated right, i would not recommend this doctor.

Was referred by my gp for thyroid issues and was basically told that I do not have a thyroid issue and that it is my birth control causing the issues. I have lab work proving I have hypothyroid, but I don't believe he looked at that. Felt very dismissed.

He is wonderful! His treatment of my Graves’ disease was far better than I could have expected. He helped me find options that were the quickest and safest. He’s also very funny which is helpful to my health anxiety.

I saw Dr Nyomba after I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, He was helpful in the fact that he proved that I did NOT have hypothyroidism and was thus misdiagnosed. He advised me to stop all medications and That was that. At the appointment, you meet with his assistant and go over everything and I told her about seeing the naturopathic doctor as well to get to the bottom of my medical issues and she made some rude comments regarding it. I then proceed to over hear her in the hallway telling Dr Nyomba that I "got A bit sensitive" when talking about the naturopath. Dr Nyomba then proceeded to tell me that they are "witch doctors" and that they "shouldn't be trusted" Next, he told my boyfriend who was with me to "take her for a walk" and He mentioned 10+ times that all I needed to do to feel better was lose weight. One year later almost, I've lost weight and still haven't figured out most my medical issues. and those I did have nothing to do with my weight. It makes me sad that most doctors these days won't take you seriously if you are seeking out alternative treatments or are/have been overweight. All in all I'm glad I got the right answer but disappointed in his outdated thinking

I have only been seeing Dr. Nyomba for approximately 6 months. But he has made a lot of progress with me and is very knowledgeable in his field. Thank you for the excellent care.
