Had a re-do of a repaired distal biceps tendon rupture. Did an amazing job, and instilled high levels of confidence at all times.

I went to Dr. McKee after being diagnosed with avascular necrosis by another orthopedic surgeon. Dr. McKee explained the condition well and gave me several treatment options. He was upfront about the fact that the option I chose (a core decompression with tantalum rod) was a temporary measure. He was always very friendly and frank, which I appreciate. My only complaint was that he didn't order a second xray right before my surgery; it would have showed the disease had progressed and I might have chosen a THR at that point.

My wrist was improperly set leaving it deformed and with restricted movement and pain. I was referred to Dr McKee who immediately saw the problem and corrected it with surgery; he is a very knowledgeable, skilful and compassionate man whom I would recommend to anyone. Thanks to Dr McKee I have pain free use of my left hand. again

I was referred to him last year because of joint pain in the wrist. He and his staff and his residents (I was seen by a resident first) were very patient, helpful, answered all my questions, and ultimately referred me to a very excellent rheumatologist in the department. Consider yourself blessed if you've been referred to him for any orthopedics, especially upper limbs.

Dr.McKee operated on me twice, five years apart. Both times for ruptured bicep tendons at the distal end,(once on each arm). What an amazing surgeon. I followed his physio advice, taking at least a year to recover properly each time, and came back as good as new! Dr. McKee and his staff were not only professional and compasionate, but fun to be around as well. Considering how many patients this man sees in a day/year, he did his best to spend time with me to explain the proceedure and expectations. Fitness and exercise have been a part of my life since a young age, and Dr. McKee and his staff repaired me so that I could go on functioning in the gym and at work at %100. It has been approx. 6 years since the last surgery, and I am thankful to these people to this day. The entire staff at St.Mikes Hospital were absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! This man was supposed to operate my sister for her hip but we actually never met the doctor. Instead, we talked to one of his students who assured us that the doctor has seen the file and the surgery would improve my sister's condition. On the morning of the surgery, Dr. McKee took a look at the X-ray and told my sister that the damage on her hip was advanced and he could not longer operate on her. She was asked to leave the operating room. No need to say that she was completely devastated as she had put all her hopes into this operation. Obviously, Dr. Mckee had not even looked at her file. I don't how knowledgeable he is but he has no compassion as a human being.

I was extremely happy with the surgery performed by Dr. McKee. He was very explicit about the surgery and what I could expect in the way of recovery. A very caring doctor.
