He has been my family doctor for 49 yrs. He and his wife are amazing! Couldn’t ask for anyone better!

Dr Gauthier needs to retire. He ignored pleas for endoscopy as nothing-turns out esophageal hernia. Also he denied fathers neuro referral after ENT suggested. Turns out-father had a stroke and needed neuro. Optometrist was the one to go around Gauthiers back and get the neuro consult. Ridiculous. Man needs to retire. Constant mistakes.

Best Dr. in Ottawa. The day they will retire will be the saddest day of my life. Having to wait in line for hours at an urgent care clinic is the new way of life. Who knows who will take care of you. Not once this clinic refused to see me or had to send me elsewhere. New doctors are working 8 to 4 and don't care.

Dr. Gauthier took care of my elderly parents. Appointments were easy to make and he even made house-calls! I must confess taking liberty of his availability and feel guilty for it. He works long hours. He also made hospital visits virtually daily when my mother was in the Montfort - even on Christmas & New Years! The nursing staff spoke of him with great admiration. One can honestly say of him, his medical practice is not a job, it is his vocation. A great human being.

Il est devenu un médecin très important dans notre famille depuis plus de cinquante ans. Bravo aussi à son épouse Lorraine qui avec lui forment une équipe de soins formidables. Best doctor you will ever find. Top 5 in Ottawa. Hope they never retire. These few people writing negative comments have no idea what its like to wait in an urgent care clinic and finding a competent doctor. They are simply ignorant.

Him and his wife need to retire. You can see they no longer care for their profession nor their patients. Dr. Gauthier refuses to see women which I think is discriminatory and irresponsible. Lorraine doesn't know enough to treat anyone properly and patients are often left to suffer with misdiagnosis. Dr. Gauthier was once a brilliant doctor but it's time he hang up his hat and send his patients off to doctors that still care and who will do their job properly.

I cannot say enough good things about both André and Loraine. I was a patient of theirs as a child and the genuine care as well as concern demonstrated by both of them made a huge difference in my life. They both truly have empathy for their patients.

The experience of going through a harrowing medical procedure as a child can be truly traumatic- but all I remember is Loraine's smile and feeling very much comforted.

I would almost move back to Ottawa when I have kids just so that they can have these two on their team.

Dr Gauthier and NP Loraine Gauthier are amazing human beings. Nothing but excellence. I have been a patient of theirs for over 40 years. Other heath care professionals should take notice because these 2 are greal role models

Dr. André Gauthier has been our close family friend´s physician for many, many years. Our friend Wilf has always been full of praise for him but over the last few months, we, too, have realized how dedicated Dr. Gauthier is to his patients in difficult times - reliable, caring, and knowledgeable.
