Fantastic doctor, super helpful and caring. I had a very difficult and dangerous sinus problem and she handled it superbly. She removed by deviated septum at the same time and radically decreased my snoring problem. I highly recommend her. She was smart, knowledgeable, and best of all, caring and supportive. I really can't say enough about how good she is.

STOP FIND A NEW DOCTOR!!!! My 37 year old brother had a routine surgery for snoring performed by dr. zamudio at the end of July 2008. On Aug 3rd, 2008 (6 days after surgery) he died due to complications from this surgery. It is listed on his death certificate as the reason for his death. Two days after my brother passed the dr called a family meeting. At this meeting this dr actually had the audacity to tell myself, our parents, and my brothers two minor children that she will miss him just as much as we will. She told us her surgery had nothing to do with his death and we informed her we had just visited the coroners office prior to this family meeting and the Coroner explained in detail what had happened. When he was asked if my brother had not had this surgery would he be alive today his answer was extremely strong as he said his passing was due to this surgery, PERIOD! When dr zamudio was told this she was instantly defensive and said "My surgery had nothing to do with his death".

I saw Dr. Cleland-Zamudio about a problem with snoring and with nosebleeds. She immediately decided that I needed septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgeries, and she claimed that this would (a) improve my breathing tremendously, (b) reduce my snoring, and (c) stop the nosebleeds. In actual fact this surgery did NOTHING in any of those categories. It was an expensive and utterly useless surgery--my breathing and everything else is exactly the same as before. She also claimed that a more major (and much more expensive) throat surgery would be the best choice for improving the snoring problem; but I got a second opinion from another ENT, as well as doing some internet research, and they all indicate only a 30% chance of success from that surgery. In short, Dr. Cleland-Zamudio's goal is to sell you surgeries just to line her own pockets, without any regard for your personal health or the long-term results.

My surgery was a huge failure. It has been many years & I have had no benefit. I had complete faith in her abilities & was sorely mistaken. In the process of the surgery I lost my sense of taste & smell & was basically brushed off saying that shouldn't have happened am I sure I could smell/taste before. The answer to that is YES I could with no trouble. As of today about 12 years after the initial surgery I have found a new ENT who I am hopeful can help with the many original issues as well as the multitude caused by the doctor. I have never reviewed a doctor & feel as though I should have done this years ago. It was a shame that after I had the problems they seemed to have little time or interest in helping me out.

I went with her surgery recommendation despite my reservations. She never addressed my initial symptoms, and brushed me off when I tried to ask her about them. The surgery has not benefited me in the long run, and my original symptoms still bother me. Find another doctor.

I was very impressed with how carefully she examined my husband and explained to both of us very clearly what was causing his Eustachian tube problem and what he could do about it. She has a great, clear "teaching" style, and she seemed very thorough.

Dr. Cleland-Zamudio was incredibly detailed and clear in her evaluation of my nasal obstruction. She offered a diagnosis and a treatment plan that turned out to be spot on. The course of healing following surgery was what she indicated it would be. My symptoms have ceased. She is exceptional and I would recommend her to any ENT patient

The worst experience of my life!! I would not recommend this doctor. I only saw her once and that was just prior to my surgery. I ended up in the ER...3 times! I was never able to talk to the doctor and seemed to only ever get a medical assistant to talk to. It also cost me an ambulance ride! I would NEVER recommend this doctor.
