I was first referred to Dr. Stone by my primary care doctor after an injury. The following day I was given another referral to him by my Fire Chief. The same day I was referred to him by my physical therapist. There was not any communication between these three professionals who I respect and trust.

Dr. Stone and his staff exceeded all of my expectations. They are extremely professional and truly caring. One area where he and his staff excel, is with communication. Throughout all steps of the process,[diagnosis, procedure to be preformed, pre-op, post op, and recovery] Dr. Stone and his staff spent ample time with me and kept me thoroughly informed. Dr. Stone visited with me and my family prior to going in for operation. I was very nervous that day but after he came to see me and prayed for me with my family, I felt safe and comforted. The operation went flawlessly. The staff continued to follow up with me multiple times the weeks after the surgery to ensure I was doing ok. It has been three weeks since my surgery and my incisions are almost not visible. Dr. Stone did an amazing job and has truly earned this review.
Thank you DR. Stone.

Dr. Stone recently repaired both an umbilical and an inguinal hernia, robotically, both in the same procedure. Pain was minimal and recovery very quick. If you need similar surgery, please let me save you some time. Just go visit Dr. Stone. He’s fantastic and gets my highest regards!

Pure unprofessionalism. Glad I didn't end up getting surgery here.

In February I needed to get my gallbladder taken out. I called Dr. Stone and they said that with my specific insurance they wouldn't be able to take me until March 1. So I called first week of march and they called me back on March 7. They were missing some specific form to get faxed to them, which I had faxed over on the same day.

After not hearing from them for a few days (I assumed they'd call once they got the form), I called back on March 15 and they said "Well, if you had called us back earlier maybe we could have gotten you in, but now we don't take your insurance after March 28 because it doesn't pay that well"

I have NO idea what any of that means on the backend with insurance, but it sounds like they don't like dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield (not exactly a small provider) and jerked me around for 6 weeks over it. Getting my gall bladder out is important, and making we wait 6 weeks only to tell me sorry see ya later is borderline negligent.

Factor this in when you're deciding where to get surgery from this doctor. Do you really want to get surgery from someone greedy at best and completely unorganized at worst? Do you want them to forget some small part of your body before they sew you back up?

For years, I had what is called an Umbilical Hernia. I had put off any kind of treatment until my belly button became a bit sensitive to touch and generally felt uncomfortable. Thats when I decided to do some research on my own and discovered that this condition could be harmful to my health.

I came across Dr. Ramsey Stone through a Google search and immediately scheduled my appointment to meet and discuss my condition. During my initial visit I was surprise how calm and attentive I was treated by the staff. On the other hand, Dr. Stone was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about my condition and what the procedure and post-op recovery would entail. With all the information at hand I felt confident and comfortable to move forward with my procedure.

The day of my procedure, my wife and I arrived at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was surprisingly pleasant, greeting me and directing me to my check-in location. Moments after arriving at my check-in I was admitted. There I met with several nurses/RNs who were not only professional and courteous, and quick - everyone had a roll and knew where to go and what information and care I needed. The hospital staff and nurses were outstanding!

Dr. Stone arrived to meet with me a few moments before the procedure. Dr. Stone was appeared ready to go and confident in his ability to do this procedure. Before going in, to my amazement offered my wife and I a quick prayer. I got to say this was unexpected but very welcoming and calming to me and my wife - it assured me that everything was going to be alright from that point on.

The surgery was a success! During my recovery, I awoke with little to no pain at all, no nausea from the anesthesia, I was wide awake with no groggy feeling, ready to go home. As I checked out and my wife drove us home, I could not stop talking about how great everything went. Everything was well planned out, executed and everyone was professionally coordinated and competent.

I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr Stone and my procedure - I'm two weeks post-op and my healing is going great - My belly button is back to normal. Dr. Stone did a wonderful and meticulous job!

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Stone to anyone needing a similar procedure.

May the Lord continue to bless and guide you. Thank you, Dr. Stone!

From Dr. Stone: I would like to take a chance to introduce myself and to explain what your experience under my care may look like. I am not your typical surgeon. I do not see you as a number or a statistic. I see everyone that walks through my door as a wonderful, unique person that was purposefully created. I take great strides in being on the forefront of this field. The rapidly changing technology and advances are important to grasp and implement when possible.
