I saw her at a walk-in clinic (2008). My right hand was painfully inflamed, & she has scheduled X-Rays the day after. So, it was fast, but she didn't explain me the possibilities why I have this problem, and she didn't give me pain killer. I found out 2 years later, when she was retired, they lost my X-rays. So, important to do follow up. No news good news isn't true in the medical system in Canada.

Dr. Hollands has been my doctor for 17 years. She is very kind and thoughtful. She has a warm demeanour about her, never impersonal. More like seeing a family member than a doctor. I would never want to switch doctors but I have thought about going elsewhere only because the walk in clinic she works out of is always packed full of sick people and I'm often late going in for my exam, I don't want to get sick while waiting for my appointment. You have to pay for parking $9 or more and that's too much. Because she's a popular doctor the wait times are often long to see her. I once had to see her for an emmergency skin break out and her staff would not put me through, I asked to wait but they denied me. The first appointment available after that was too late and I couldn't show her what the issue was... I have to wait for it to per chance happen again to get a proper diagnosis, which is unfortunate. I went to a walk in clinic instead who said I need to go and see my family doctor :s

I had nothing but trouble with this doctor's staff. They are rude, careless, inconsiderate. I even saw one of them chastise an elderly woman until the woman cried. When I spoke out against her actions my appointments were then mixed up, I was left waiting for 2.5hrs past my appointment time. The doctor I found to be mediocre. Her knowledge of some medical treatment is sketchy. She writes incomplete scripts causing inconvenience & possible overdose (for instance she couldn't remember the dose she prescribed before when writing a renewal script so she guessed. When I got home I discovered it was twice what I should have been taking). She fails to brief herself on a patient's care before coming into the exam room and doesn't follow a plan of care (for instance, she spells out a course of treatment/tests that involve followup then doesn't recall what her plan was when patient follows up). The wait room is very shabby/dirty but worse is that her equipment is also shabby/dirty.

The staff sucks! Dr. Hollands on the other hand is without a doubt the best doctor in the city. I wouldn't know what to do without her.

I have been going to see Dr. Hollands for 12 years now and absolutely love her! She is knowledgable, kind, thorough, and always willing to spend a few extra minutes to calm any fears or answer any questions you may have. I am so glad to have her as my doctor :)

Dr. Hollands is great. She has been my doctor for a number of years and is very knowledgeable and wise. The clinic set up is a bit of a pain though - there is often a long wait.

I appreciate Dr. Hollands. I have been her patient for 20 years and she is always courteous, helpful. As for the staff, they often make mistakes by giving the wrong file to the doctor or putting my results in the wrong file.

Dr. Hollands is a great family doctor. She is friendly and easy to talk to. In my experience she has always been great at answering my questions, recommending effective treatment and explaining everything straightforwardly and with patience. I feel confident that I'm getting the best care when I visit her office. The only negative is that because her practice is located in a walk-in clinic, wait times can be a bit longer than with other doctors and the waiting room is often very busy.

Dr Hollands is an excellent doctor. She has always taken her time with me, and answered my questions with educated, well thought out answers. The staff she works with is there to do a job also. While they seem to be mostly young people, they are doing the best they can. I'm sure that job is stressful too. Overall, I would go to her before any other doctor becuase she cares about her patients.
