Unfortunately, my experience with this doctor has been negative. She is very rude. She has no time for necessary questions. She should be ashamed of herself.

Asks very little questions before making a diagnosis, does not explain side effects of medications, does not go to efforts to make sure diagnosis is correct. She calls once, appointment times are not set so you could be in the bathroom and missed the call but it's too late even a minute later. Also impossible to make an appointment, wait times are over the week so I always just end up seeing a walk-in clinic instead because it takes too long to see her.

She is a great physician, companionate, and knowledgeable. We are very grateful to the kind care she has been providing for years to all the family member. COVID has placed huge demands on health care workers, but she still takes time to make sure the problem is taking care of. Thank you Dr. Soccar.

Her staff used be excellent. She used to be very punctual, followed up and used to be very kind. That is not the case anymore, she does not speak to you like you are not human being. You’re just revenue, you are just a booking in the system, you are just another appointment they can grab from you. She says she will get back to you but never gets back. I’m sure she’s not like this for everyone, at least I hope.

I understand we have O-HIP, so we’re not paying out of pocket for these appointments. Our time is robbed and so are our tax payer dollars when you have doctors like this that the way they are operating their practices as pure businesses. I am not sure if there is a board that should be auditing doctors that have consistent low ratings, clearly patients are in pain and not getting the basic heath services they need.

A highly rated doctor may get to the solution for you after one appointment or be able to refer you to a specialist if they are not sure. No with Dr. Soccar try, multiple appointments, especially by phone - that seems to be the norm here. And then multiples attempts are multiple medications until a solution is found, I don’t have to make any accusations but I wonder if they solution could have been found in the first appointment. Even checkups are a phone call and then you need to come in, there’s not coming in for a check up unless you book a phone appointment so she can ask you 3 questions? Morals and ethics are my question here.

Many of the negative reviews on here are true. It does feel like a money grab, she tries to book as many appointments with you by phone as possible even if you do not need them.
It’s important to have a family doctor that you know cares about you and unfortunately this isn’t the case.

I have been a patient for years. Her front desk staff have always been fantastic to deal with. I have always found Dr. Soccar to be easy to talk to and explain my concerns with. Her knowledge seems on point, although I feel she is hesitant to sometimes just get to the end solution and focuses too much on other details. With that said I do find at times the prescribed resolution is not always the most direct or efficient option and often requires multiple follow ups to get to the end solution. I assume to get to root cause which is her job, so I accept it as it is. My biggest complaint and it has always been my biggest complaint, and in fairness this is the same for most doctors or clinics I have been to, do not schedule me an appointment if you can't keep to a reasonable time frame to handle what you are booking. There have been numerous times where I am booked and get there on time for my appointment but end up waiting for an hour as she was overbooked or took to many walk-ins pushing back her timelines. In the same, I have often had appointments rescheduled due to her suddenly out of office for numerous reasons. I actually had one appointment rescheduled 3 times! I used to drive 45 minutes or more depending on traffic to get to these appointments to sit and wait and when it was my turn, the appointment was over in 5-10 minutes max. Seems like a waste of gas and time. Her office is now closer to me and I have found time management is improving as of late and I am not waiting and waiting for my appointment time.

A very good family physician who is absolutely terrible at phone appointments. Her actions on prescription renewals put my health at risk due to making changes based on incorrect information

Always cancel appointments, for routine vaccinations they ask to go other walk in clinics. They prefer on call appointments only. I don't recommend the place

I have seen Dr Soccar since I was a young teen and have always have period problems. She would find short-term solutions but never wanted to help investigate further. I begged for months for a referral after finding out I had PCOS and when I was mistreated by that doctor I asked for another referral to which Dr. Soccar said the only solution would be for me to have a hysterectomy, she began to get really frustrated and that she has “told me so many times” that the only other thing we could do is hormonal birth control. After reminding her that she told me I could not go on hormonal birth control due to medical history of severe migraines, she went back to saying that I need to wait until I’m 35 to have a hysterectomy and then ended the appointment there. So disappointing and so disheartening.
