Biography
Dr. David Godin, a partner at ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA), is an experienced otolaryngologist and surgeon who has helped thousands of patients achieve successful outcomes managing diseases and conditions of the ear, nose, throat and related areas. He also serves as Assistant Director of the Voice and Swallowing Center™, a division of ENTA specifically focused on diseases of the throat, esophagus and vocal cords.Dr. Godin graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York Health and Science Center at Syracuse College of Medicine in New York, then completed his General Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and The American Medical Association.Dr. Godin sees patients at ENTA's state-of-the-art Fifth Avenue clinical location in New York City. He is also currently on staff at both the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Beth Israel Hospital and The Mount Sinai Hospital. He holds the academic appointment of Assistant Professor at all these institutions, and has served on the Medical Boards of both Beth Israel Hospital and the New York Eye And Ear Infirmary. He is well-published in the field of Otolaryngology, including numerous peer review journal articles and book chapters.His special areas of clinical expertise include voice and swallowing disorders, pediatric otolaryngology, otology, sinus surgery, sleep apnea, snoring surgery, and head and neck oncology including salivary gland malignancies as well as thyroid and parathyroid tumors. Dr. David Godin is simply the best doctor that I have ever treated with in any capacity. I have had multiple surgeries by some of the most renowned doctor in the world and Dr. Godin has stood out among them all. Over 15 years ago Dr. Godin did surgery on my son to remove his adenoids and tonsils to help him sleep and breathe better. It was a life changing event for him. He went from every night waking with a consistent sweaty head and when he was stuffy from having long struggling pauses between breaths to sleeping soundly and comfortably ever since with no side effects of surgery whatsoever. You want a doctor who is going to diagnose you properly, care about your condition and figure out the fastest and least disruptive treatment plan to get you feeling better, Dr. Godin does all that but what separates him from even the most accomplished physicians is that way he treats you during the process. His bed side manner is the most caring and concerned that I have ever experienced in my 53 years on this planet. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Godin, I feel lucky that he is my family’s physician.
