What a horrible experience with this clinic. I was scheduled to see Dr. Mayo, but when I showed up, it was a different doctor who saw me. It was a quick visit and none of my concerns were addressed. I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Mayo who I finally got to meet and he signed me up for surgery. I dealt with Paula who has given me medical advise on my medication and surgery, she also booked my surgery & appointment with the doctor. She called in the wrong prescription to the pharmacy who was worried due to my pregnancy, so I phoned the clinic and spoke to the reception who was extremely rude and told me that Paula is not a nurse and I should not be talking to her in regards to anything medical and I should talk to Candace only. For my surgery, Dr. Mayo was suppose to do it, but I found out later that my entire surgery was done by resident/student, Dr. Mayo was not even in room!! On top of everything, the receptionist (tall athletic lady) is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never had such poor treatment before in my life. Receptionist to Paula to substitute doctor and Dr. Mayo himself are complete FAIL!!!!

Reception nurses are rude. I understand it's probably tough when dr mayo is running behind but having a few impatient moms doesn't mean the rest of us need to be treated like dirt or idiots.

I LOVE dr Mayo. He was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. I had a complicated pregnancy and he always tried to keep me well informed. The only reason I put up with his reception was because I think he is such an amazing OB. I even referred two of close friends to him.

He has been my obgyn for my first and now my second child. With my first born, he was on vacation, I wasn't due until 4 days after he got back. I ended up going in early and having my son the night before he got back. He came in right away and asked how baby and I were doing. This pregnancy was a little confusing as the receptionist booked extra appointments past my due date, and there was a mix up withthe due date on the paper work. He sent me for multiple ultrasounds to address my concerns. At about 34-35 weeks along, I had told him that my pelvic area was hurting and he immediately sent me for an ultrasound and I found out that my son was already head down and on top of my cervix. He will be here to deliver this baby and I'm glad. He has always been nice and professional towards me because I have been the same way towards him. You get what you give. Sure, the wait times can be a little long but, that's how it is at any doctors office. Imagine if you had to go to a walk in clinic? My appointments with him have always been quick and effective. 5-10 minutes at the most, from the moment he walks in until the time he walks out. Oh, and the receptionist can be a little spacey sometimes but, I get it. She loves her job and the people she works with. People need more patience.

I started seeing dr. Mayo after a colposcopy. I have uterine dydelphis, so two uteruses, and each has a fully developed cervix. Prior to my colposcopy I was having trouble with a lacking libido. Another doctor told me that it was because of my vaginal septum, which had never been a problem before. I ran it past dr mayo amd expected him to tell me the same thing, or that it was psychological. Instead, he explained way more about my uteruses, colposcopy, and everything involved than the other doc. He gave me a lot of great information and didn't wave me aside. If you're looking for a fluffy doc, this isnt it. He's very straight to the point but gives all the details. The wait can be long- the first visit was two hours as he was called away for an emergency delivery across the street - not his fault, babies will come when they want to! The staff was straight forward and I went for linch and came back. Staff leaves something to be desired, bit as a busy woman I appreciate the straight-shooting of dr mayo.

Dr. Mayo was very helpful with my pregnancy and delivery. I had a very difficult pregnancy to begin with and Dr. Mayo was very reassuring and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and calm through out my difficult pregnancy. I will definitely be going back to him if I get pregnant again and recommend him to anyone. Amazing doctor

Dr. Mayo delivered 2/4 kids. He was really great during the pregnancies & answered all my questions. Problems with my 1st pregnancy made him even more cautious for my 2nd and he was great! I found as soon as I delivered and babies were healthy though, he couldn't care less about you unless there were issues. His receptionists are rude and abbrassive, but the nurses and ultrasound tech were great. It's always a long wait to see him, so bring a book or two! And he has taken on so many patients now that they find every excuse to turn you away and send you to another doctor if they can, which is why baby 3 & 4 weren't delivered by him. He found my thyroid issue and made sure my gp got me treated asap. He did my son's circumcision in his office and was quick and clean. If you can get in to see him, I would recommend him.

Dr.Mayo has been my OB for over a decade. He delivered all 4 of my babies (2 natural, 2 c-sections). It is a privilege to be his patient. He has delivered many of my friends and family's babies, and helped some work through infertility issues. Highly recommend. He listens and is open to my concerns. He is a kind man. I have no idea why anyone would rate him like the others here. He has always made time to see me when I had any issue, and has had wise advice. He clearly cares for his patients, and their babies. He is fast, and direct, which I like. Not a time waster. He refers when needed and addresses problems as they arrive. I generally bring a list of my concerns and he explains all of them clearly and to the point. His nurse, Candace, is so so so nice. Also, his ultrasound tech is amazing. The front desk sometimes is a cold reception, but I think that is because they are so busy constantly. I have never waited less than an hour though, so be sure to bring a book.

Mayo came highly recommended so of course I started seeing him for my pregnancy, so far I have had 7 appointments and seem him twice, I keep seeing other doctors, so when I do end up seeing him he doesn't seem to know anything about the pregnancy, he literally doesn't know how far along I am, not even kidding, I tell him I think I am further along than 28 weeks and he tells me oh no it not, he measured my tummy and it reads 35 weeks, and the baby measured 32 weeks so instead of saying oh ok I made a mistake he just brushes it off and tells me that the Northgate ultrasound place is wrong with the dates, Really u r passing the blame? Im about 34 weeks pregnant(figured out on my own) had to go into the emergency to get looked at cause for 3 days I couldn't walk from abdominal pain, mayos moronic staff wouldn't let me get in too see him right away, the reason: " your appt isn't until Feb 21st, he will see u on that day" DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!! GO SEE A MONKEY U WILL GET BETTER RESULTS!!
