Staff is rude and unprofessional. Request for medical records was delayed. When records were provided and reviewed there were multiple errors and many of the fields and notes to the file were not updated.. Office staff borders on surly

this is a doctor with great medical expertise. however, he pays his staff very poorly and as a result they are rude, discourteous and unhelpful. do not be surprised if they never return phone calls, do not answer phone or keep you on hold for twenty minutes. their excuse is they are overworked and understaffed so doctor can keep all the money

Dr. Sandoval is great, I really like the way he has worked for me. I wonder if he knows how incompetent and rude his staff is. I had some personal questions from a recent visit and was told to leave a message, so I did. I never had my call returned. After a week I called again and was told by the receptionist I had to schedule an appointment.
Long story short, I never got anywhere told them I would seek another doc.. Called again to see if I could go in and was told NO because I had chosen to seek a new doctor.. Staff Could use better Customer Relation skills !!!

Dr Sandoval is great, everything about him is wonderful. His staff is horrible, you can't get them to do anything you need done. I needed my records sent to my insurance for a disability claim and they just kept saying they had not gotten any requests from the insurance company, even when I took it there myself. I asked them to just give them to me and I would get them there and they said they couldn't give me my own records. It was ridiculous and took forever too get handled.

I have been Dr. Sandovals patient for several years. He is a very good doctor, clear in his explainations and I have never felt like he rushed me through a visit. He also takes all the time needed to answer questions. I trust him.

Dr. Sandoval is by far the nicest and most compassionate doctor I have ever had! Prior to meeting him. He doesn't rush you through you appointment, like most doctors do, he actually listens to what you are telling him and you can tell he became a doctor in order to help his clients the best possible way. I absolutely love Dr Sandoval and his staff is the nicest any doctor could ever hope for. To me he is not just a doctor, but he has become a good friend of mine. If you are lucky enough to get him as your doctor, I promise that you will have your faith restored in the medical profession and have the same admiration for him that I do! Thank you for everything Dr. Sandoval! Your friend Dustin M. :-)

Dr Sandavol will need to review his patient care procedures with other members of the tucson medical community, board members of St Joseph's hospital and submit a plan to demonstrate how he intends to improve patient interaction with his staff.

Reasonable doctor; especially suitable for those without insurance as he apparently discounts for them. Has reputation of being competent. Not the best bedside manner; does not spend much time with patient but with insurance reimbursements as they are, which doctor does? But does ask if you have any questions and answers them all. Never seem him wash his hands though every room has sink and soap. I have seen this doctor twice. The first time my appointment was for 9 am; I arrived at 8:30; did not see doctor till 10am; left at 11 am. Second time was better; appointment was 4:45 pm; arrive at 4:36pm; saw doctor by 5 pm and left by 5:30 pm. Does not have licensed nurse or physicians assistant and front office has only one receptionist so she is overworked and difficult to get thru to office on phone to schedule appointments, etc. All is all, average experience; anything more is probably expecting too much with insurance reimbursement rates as they are,

My mother as well as half her office go to see Dr sandoval. they all rave about what a great doctor he is. My mom really likes him she has high blood pressure she can be a bit of a pain when it comes to taking medicine. He listens to everything she has to say and will do what makes her happy as far as trying new medicines. He seems like a very laid back guy who never is mean and always listen. I wish he would take my insurance because everyone who has him seems to love him.
