Have been a patient for about 25 years. By far the best doctor I've ever had, very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. A family friend also had her as a doctor, and had the same feedback. Another family friend who was an RN referred me to her years ago, and spoke highly of Dr. Schatz.

Dr. Shcatz has been our family doctor for over 20 years. She is an excellent listener and extremely thorough. Her knowledge is also very current. She does not talk down to patients and she listens well when we've come to her with our own research.

I have been with Dr Schatz for 23 years. She had always been very kind, caring and helpful. Over the past 8 years however, I have been very disappointed and let down. I have gone to see her for a couple of long standing problems. She is great to send me for blood tests or send me to another specialist, but there is never any follow up unless test results come back indicating something. In the meantime, I am left with no help because the problem does get better and nothing further is offered. I year of neck and shoulder pain and I have to ask for physio referrals, I have to ask for ultrasound and x-rays. She obliged, but said I didn't need an x-ray. Saw another doctor who did send me for x-rays and MRI. Turns out I have been suffering from cervical degenerative disc disease for over a year. During that year I saw Dr Schatz 3 times about the pain. Lots of opportunities to help me. Looking for a new doctor now.

Excellent. Encouraged me to try statins for cholesterol and when I reported I was trying to reduce dosage by taking 10mg every other day, sent me for test and gave me a Rx for 5 mg when results were good. Put me on a PPI for heartburn and again reduced dosage after I had experimented with lower dose. Referred me to asthma clinic at my request - which has been excellent. When I called about skin blisters the receptionist Susan suspected shingles and gave me an appointment within 2 hours which meant I could take the Rx to (successfully) prevent a more serious case. When I have speculated about a cause of a medical problem has been able to provide a more plausible analysis. Occasionally runs a bit late but that is not an issue for me as I see that as an indication of being thorough.
