Dr Aloke De is a very competent doctor. He is a Functional Medicine Doctor. He is not an ordinary doctor. I was having such severe continuous pain because of bad knees. Dr De cured my pain. Never got pain again. Those who are talking bad about him does not know that his qualification is higher than an MD. He did move from Ottawa to Toronto while he was waiting for papers to go to Australia.

Told me I didn't have cancer - lump on my neck was too small to be lymphoma.... It was Lymphoma. delayed the diagnosis by referring me to a surgeon for a biopsy who didn't perform biopsies.

Well, I verified the allegations that he is not living/practicing in Australia. His practicing address with the CPSO (college of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) is a clinic in Tarneit, Australia and he is also listed on that clinic's website. I liked him as a physician before he moved. He was helpful and kind.

Dr. De is not in Australia, he is practising in Toronto, even though he told patients and his administrative staff at Carlingwood, that he is going to Australia. This is dishonest and I must agree that this doctor is capable of dishonesty and should be examined. Be careful don't make a complaint, this will give any doctor a right to sever his doctor patient relationship based on trust. This doctor did too many things to even mention; but he is far from being what we would expect from our doctors, compassion, support and integrity, this is just my opinion.

Left patients in the lurch yet again, this time moving to Australia to become a specialist. Returning to Toronto in a couple years. Why is he going to Australia and not Canada for education... is he hiding something? (Somebody should look into that!)

Completely overwhelmed by his work. It is clear, he does not enjoy it. The information he gave me was erroneous. I went to see another doctor instead who was much more helpful.
