I had knee surgery last year by Dr. Bogoch. 8 months later, I am still having pain and clicking in my knee. He just keeps telling me to exercise it more but I really feel like something is not right. He will not address it though. Now I have to seek another opinion and I'm very frustrated. Hopefully the next surgeon will listen more.

He appeared distracted during my visit and was rather dismissive. No thanks. Lots of other surgeons to choose from.

Dr. Bogoch was the only surgeon to help me after seeing 4 other orthopedic doctors. They all just said they couldn't help me. Dr. Bogoch said he would certainly help me but I would have to lose some weight first and he would help me to do that through a referral to the bariatric clinic. I am happy to say this caring man literally saved my life and my quality of life. I have now had both hips replaced which were causing the worst pain I have ever experienced. I was in a wheel chair for 2 years because of that pain. I have also had one knee replaced and am soon having the other replaced. My total care through all of this surgery was excellent. Everything was irganized

I'm very surprised by these 5 star ratings for Dr. Bogoch. This was not my experience with him. He was rude, condescending, and arrogant. And the way he spoke to his trainees was simply awful. I don't think his behaviour towards them would be tolerated in any other field. HR nightmare! He seems to fit the stereotype of the surgeon who thinks he's God's gift to humanity and because of his position of authority, is rarely challenged. He is probably used to treating other people poorly with little, if any, consequence. I would not support his practice.

Very Intelligent , impressiveand brillent doctor.I am lucky to have met him after my hip replacemnt due to car accident while iwas walking,I.He made me very relaxed and we discussed my surgery performed by another orthopedic surgeon in Mississauga. Thank you . Dr Bogoch , your staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Bogoch is a brilliant surgeon with incredible knowledge and experience. His manner is professional and consoling. He is a true pro and a leader in his specialty. Anyone who is under his care is a lucky individual.

He takes his time with each patient that they understand everything! It helps my husband that he even says some words in Italian so it makes you feel relaxed. I wish I could get surgery now before he leaves but I’m not quite ready fir knee replacement. All the best to him and his staff! His nephew is also a God Send!

Above all, do not dare insist this doctor answer any questions about post surgery issues. They will call security and have you physically thrown out! My TKR went very badly in 2010. The doctor wanted nothing to do with me when problems were apparent. It would appear the prosthetic may have been to large for my frame. It has been ten years of hard, daily physio therapy (Some at my own expense). I never got my range of motion back and have not been able to ride a bicycle since (The main reason for the knee replacement!) I have since found a wonderful Orthopaedic surgeon in Oakville Ontario. She saved me from what would have been a disastrous second surgery (by a different doctor) and prevented me from getting a TKR on the second knee. Her cure for both knees was a good physio therapist. Clearly, she is not in it for the money as the big money is in surgeries . I met her 8 years ago and both knees are still functional with no further surgery and no more cortisone shots. Dr. Bogoch had been giving me regular cortisone shots rather than fix the problem. The shots would work for a short time but pain was soon back. I had heard from another Doctor that such shots should be given as seldom as possible.

This Doc knows his stuff! Highly knowledgeable and a skilled surgeon! His staff are first rate and very helpful. Had my left hip replaced and already (4 days post-op) feel 100 percent better! 5* across the board!
