Dr. Nayak is a great Doctor. She is personable, and really takes the time to understand her patient and their illness. I have suffered from severe asthma all of my life and this is the first time in a long time that I feel I have a Doctor who really understands my illness and how it affects me and presents itself. Grateful to be a patient and have her as my Doctor.

Very impressed with Dr Nayak's bedside manner and the way she treated me. She has a very positive, very helpful attitude and made me very comfortable asking her questions. No signs of impatience, no frowns. Just made me emotionally very relaxed.

Dr Nyak saw me when I was hospitalized for Pneumonia.I followed up with her and because I was on oxygen I stayed with her hoping I could find a Dr closer to my home. The first thing she did was take me off of Coumaden (prescribed because of the blood clot in my lung that almost killed me) She didn't even have me take low dose asperin, told me I hadn't had a blood clot in 2 years so I didn't need anything now. She prescribed lasix for the edema in my legs and was more concerned about my losing weight than advising me to get a flu shot or pneumonia vaccine. I am on oxygen and it was becoming harder to walk and I became uneasy without some type of blood thinner so I made an appointment with another pulmonary Dr. That visit may have saved my life as they found 2 blood clots in my right leg and the edema was caused by reflux which support hose helps to keep in check. I will be on Coumadan the rest of my life.
