Dr. Kent repaired a leaking mitral valve on me in October, 2021. He is a very kind and attentive man, who ,listens to your concerns and addresses them. He is amiable and kind and never seems to be hurried. I feel much better since I have had this operation. He explained the procedure to my son when he was visiting me. He also has a sense of humour and is able to relate to you on a personal level. I feel lucky to have had him for my surgery, which was very worrying to me.

Dr Kent recently performed a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement on me on Jan 24th. I am 71 years old and I am recovering well with no need of any pain medication whatsoever since leaving hospital after 5 days. Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Kent, he is a brilliant surgeon and an amazing compassionate, friendly easy going person who puts you at ease and instills confidence. Thanks also go to a fine anaesthetist Dr. Hanh and all the other excellent staff involved. I was really impressed by the level of care received.

Very skilled surgeon who did a triple bypass surgery on my husband. Saved his life...wonderful bedside manner and makes one feel at ease right away. We were very lucky to have had him on short notice . This is the surgeon we would highly recommend!

Dr. Kent did my double bypass in July 2015. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for saving my life and giving me another “100,000km” as they say. You were amazing as were the staff. The cardiac unit is probably the most incredible place. They deserve a medal. They also deserve a new hospital.

Dr. Kent performed a Minimally invasive aortic valve replacement on me 2 weeks ago on Dec 14, 2020. He spent hours before the surgery discussing my valve options, as I had done extensive research and had many questions. I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and had really tried to delay my surgery as long as possible. I ultimately chose a Bovine tissue valve. Dr. Kent was incredibly kind and attentive during my short (4 day) hospital stay. He visited every day and listened to all of my questions. My hospital room mates (from other surgeons) were jealous of the time I received. When I still felt sick from anesthetic and didn't feel like walking, he was able to encourage me that it would help to get me home quicker. I am 48 years old and have recovered amazingly well. I have virtually no pain now and have a 5cm incision between my ribs. At 2 weeks I am walking 2 miles per day and even ice skating! I can't wait to see how my new valve will improve my tennis game! I can not thank Dr. Kent enough for his amazing surgical skill and impressive bedside manner. I feel fortunate to have put my heart in the hands of such an incredible professional. Heather J

Dr. William Kent performed surgery of Mitral Valve replacement and Tricuspid Valve repair on my mother on July 02, 2019. The operation was very successful. I remember the surgery only took three hours. After one year of the surgery, the quality of life for my mother has been greatly improved. No more Congestive Heart Failure. my mother live like a normal person. Dr. Kent save my mother's life. my mother want to say thank your very much, Dr. Kent. This man is a genius Very innovative and will take the less invasive route when possible
He performed my surgery and was able to replace my valve with out cutting a bone
He is very attentive after surgery to both the patient and family. He has a great sense of humour and makes you feel extremely at ease before and after the surgery
We would highly recommend him and feel very fortunate that we had him as our surgeon
