Thanks to Dr Fedak and his staff at a difficult time for my husband and I. My husband had 3 procedures done. Prior to operation Dr Fedak explained everything that would happen and made sure we were comfortable and understood everything. He was very caring and had a great man or to him. Two weeks after operation, my husband was in hospital with Afib. I didn’t understand what was going on. I called the office and the staff had the doctors on call go see my husband and called me after to explain everything. It was so reassuring. On our follow up visit the doctor was again careful to explain everything to us and what to expect. He will also be following him up in a year. Dr Fedak and his staff went above and beyond my expectations. I want to give them a heartfelt thank you.

Dr. Paul Fedak did my bypass surgery at the middle of April, 2020 and since then no problem at all. The heart is fixed, no angina and I'm expecting a good life as he said before the surgery. No complications, has some minor pain around the incision and it will be better in time. Dr. Paul Fedak is a highly professional, well experienced cardiac surgeon as I seen him very closely. I was nervous and cancelled few heart operations date. During this Coronavirus pandemic, I was not sure and confused what to do but he advised me to do surgery because it was more important then the pandemic. So I got confidence and did it and feel so lucky. I am very grateful for his excellent service. Thank you my friend. I got a new life and thank you. Sincerely, M. A. Google this doctors name and you will feel reassured that you have one of the best heart surgeons out there. Dr Fedak is an expert in his field. When I was faced with having surgery and the nerves that go along with it, I knew I was in great hands. To top it off he is extremely personable and caring and took the time to answer all my questions - and I had a lot!

Dr. Fedak performed triple by-pass on me in 2007 . I had the choice to go anywhere in the World for my procedure but consulted with a family friend , a noted heart surgeon in N.Y. , who lead a U.S. team to Chernoble , Russia some years ago to operate on victims of the disaster some decades ago > My friend indicated that the Libin Institute in Calgary was more than well reckonized as top shelf ! Upon furthur enquiries I ended up in Dr. Fedak's care . Just today , I met with my Cardiologist for my annual follow-up and all was well with NO complications and all was working as it should be . I am very grateful for his excellent skill and a great follow-up over the years . We are blessed here in southern Alberta to have such a great Cardio team...... bar none ! Robert Hefferton

Had my very first appointment with Dr. Paul Fedak today. Appreciated his sincerity, knowledge of the subject, and attention to details of my case. Dr. Fedak has presented to me several options for fixing my aortic valve, discussing all pros and cons. He sounded very confident in every answer on my questions. To be continued after my next visit.

I was a bit nervous as my wife and I prepared to meet Dr. Fedak. I didn't fancy someone cutting into my chest and heart but then--Dr. Fedak knocked gently and entered the room. His calm and unassuming manner put me right at ease. He explained how the surgery should unfold and answered all our questions. At no time did we feel rushed and I really appreciated that. Needless to say we were very impressed with him. As for the surgery, it was a brilliant success despite my heart refusing to cooperate --appaently one side decided to quit working but Dr. Fedak's quick action and amazing skill put everything right. I'm now the happy owner of a new mitral valve and an artery....and I'm feeling really good!!! In conclusion, I could fill many lines describing his amazing skill and competence. The greatest thing, however, is that he is a genuinely nice person. I don't know how many people get to choose their surgeon but I strongly recommend Dr. Paul Fedak.
