terrible staff Mary Jane is rude, unprofessional and uneducated

I am a male senior and a long-time patient of Dr Anu at the Chadha family clinic. Dr Anu processes a large number of patients and it would be impossible for her to do that without her courteous and efficient receptionist (M.J. ) and her equally efficient and keen assistants. I absolutely cannot comprehend the low ratings provided by some reviewers. I have nothing but praise for the Chadha team!

This doctor has saved my life. She approaches each visit with fresh eyes and a listening ear, yet she's also extremely down to earth and realistic - and her attention to detail of one's private life and history is amazingly supportive and attentive. Her knowledge across the branches of medicine is incredible. I have never felt rushed, and more importantly, I've always left feeling like this is an individual who genuinely, to her core, cares about the people she treats. I would trust her with anything, and I feel amazingly fortunate to have her as my physician.

Dr.Chadha has an outstanding practice that has provided wonderful care for my mother. We are so blessed and thankful for the medical care offered by this unique staff. Simple easy to book appointments with Dr. Anu is the reason why we could recommend this doctor and that staff that so wonderfully greet you during your visit.

Now sometimes you might find a bit of a way but that is because of the care and support provided by the entire team. Generally speaking my mother would have to visit a doctor several times within a month; with Dr Anu the visits have been reduced while her health have improved significantly. 

A wonderful location and highly recommend. It is a fabulous location located on bank st. My mother and I usually go for walk in the park after we visit one another bonus Timmies right down the street. We are so blessed to have this doctor for our parents primary care giver. I've never been inside but have been told it is an extremely clean office with a welcoming and comfortable decor.

Absolutely awful. If you have mental health issues avoid this clinic. One receptionist is the opposite of helpful, disgraceful would be a compliment. The other nurse was openly racist towards a Somalian world that did not speak English. The nurse laughed at me when I said it was unacceptable that I have been waiting for a referral for jaw-pain for over 2 years. I haven't seen Chadha in over 4 years because everytime its the nurse, one barely understands me, the other laughs. This clinic should be reported to CMA for malpractice. I am not alone in thinking they only care about how many patients that see in a day $$$$$$$$$$$

Our family has been with Dr. Chadha since opening practice. Dr. Chadha has always been there for us not only to help us navigate physical health issues, but also mental health issues. My children who are both under 8 years old feel very comfortable at the clinic . My 8 and 4 year old asks for Dr. chadha when they aren’t feeling well. In their little minds they know that Dr. Chadha will take care of them. When I needed help to cope with a diagnosis, Dr. Chadha and medical staff provided me with the support and the space (talk therapy) to make decisions for the good of our whole family. Dr. Chadha was kind, patient and wise. Dr. Chadha made a huge difference during such a dark time.
I want to mention that Dr. Chadha has a very direct style of communication and her practice is different from other places; there is one receptionist and it can be difficult to get through on the phone lines but I usually get through with email or if I go in person. Dr. Chadha tries to take walk in urgent cases or emergencies. She has saved us from long waits at the er countless times. She has physician assistants, medical students and residents that work with her. In return, you are able to book appointments to see her within 24 hours. For us with all the viruses and winter colds, this has been a blessing. I also want to mention that you as the patient have to take an active role by printing requisitions and filling out forms, and in some cases find specialists, but that hasn’t been a problem for us. To close, we are very grateful for the care that Dr. Chadha has provided our family , and we feel confident that we are in good hands under her care. Dr Chadha is completing a big role of being a family physician for many patients in our community during a difficult time and we understand she uses medical support staff to help with her practice.

Unfortunately the phone is never answered and if you leave a message you do not receive a call back. Rarely do you actually see Dr. Chadha, most appointments are completed by other staff (I am assuming students or nurses but I am unsure). There is very little continuity of care and Dr. Chadha is quite removed from the process. During the pandemic, while appointments are over the phone, I did not once have my appoinment with Dr. Chadha.
In my opionion, it feels as if Chadha medical clinic operates like an assembly line with the goal to "see" as many patients as possible daily. I am very disspointed with my experince with Dr. Chadha but recognize that it is difficult to find a new doctor in Ottawa.

Anu was my family Dr for 6 years. She is an amazing person who puts her patients first. She always greeted me with a hi, how are you today and smile! She and her team always started the interview with how can I help you today. Their easy going demeanor and positive attitude always lead to great discussions about my heath and how I can best fix them. Her medical administrator Mary Jane was always positive and helpful. When I sometimes fell off the straight and narrow dietary choices, she and her team always helped get me back on track. I truly wish I could still have her as my doctor if I had not moved.

Dr. Chadha has been my family dr for several years. I have had several major health complaints in this time and she has given me phenomenal care. She always takes the time that is needed and has never made me feel rushed. She really listens to what I have to say and considers many options. She remembers my treatments and concerns from previous visits and has done a great job of putting it all together. Her excellent staff is very thorough and helpful. She has a very interesting system that seems to work well. She utilizes health support workers for standard and repeat issues (with her guidance). This seems to free her up to deal with more complicated stuff (for example I had ear syringing done by her, it was very hard to get the wax out. I had tried multiple times before. She also treated a difficult wart for me on my foot. She has freezing treatment in the office. I always see her with any new concerns or ongoing stuff that needs a professional opinion.) This means that it is very easy to get an appointment on short notice. I have never waited more than two weeks to see her especially when urgent issues come up. I am so grateful to have Dr. Chadha as my family dr. She has really made me feel supported during a challenging time with my health. She is doing her best and beyond in this time when health care is under pressure and I am very pleased to have a family dr like her. She has treated my other family members and we all love her. Her father is my childrens paediatrician and has also given us great medical treatment and benefits. Chadha medical is a great clinic in our town and providing our family great attentive care! We are lucky to have such kind professional caring drs!

I had an appointment this morning August 11,2022 at 10:30 with Dr.Anu Chadha at 1833 Bank street in Ottawa south ,I am a cancer patient , and since I don't speak English very well , so my husband is usually accompanying me and after allowing us to sit an room for the doctor to see us, in a few minutes the assistant showed up and simply said that the doctor does not want to see you , because she is busy for other important work. without any reason,
Dr. Anu Chadha was very rude and I have make a formal complaint to the College of Physicians to investigate her and to show her how to approach towards her patients. the worsts family doctor we have ever experienced , they should realize that they are in Canada and can not mistreat patients , there is a law and order in this country.
