Dr. May is am amazing doctor/surgeon! I was fortunate enough to be in her care in 2020 after a cervical cancer diagnosis. She performed a successful trachelectomy.
Dr. May is a very talented, intelligent and extremely compassionate doctor and person.
I will always be grateful to have been in her care.

Dr. May is exceptional on all fronts. Her diagnoses are spot on right out of the gate, and she’s such a skilled surgeon too. She has a gentle manner about her..taking your hand pre surgery, hugging you when biopsy results are delivered. Her assistants too are top notch.

If only they could clone Dr. May. She’s what all doctors SHOULD be! If you get to select an oncologist/surgeon at PMH CHOOSE Dr. May. You are in the most educated, talented, experienced, caring person’s hands with her.

Dr. May is a gem. I have metastatic cancer and I have seen many doctors over the past four years. Dr. May stands out as the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. She is warm, genuine, honest and caring.
Dr. May is very knowledgeable and she will do everything in her power to help you.
Living with cancer is hard and having an amazing champion like Dr. May on your side is a blessing.

I am very blessed to have received care from Dr. May, an oncologist who specializes in treating cancer patients. From the moment I met her, I knew that I was in the best hands possible. Dr. May is not only highly knowledgeable and experienced in her field, but she also possesses a level of empathy that is truly unparalleled.

Dealing with a cancer diagnosis can be an incredibly scary and overwhelming experience, but Dr. May made me feel like I was never alone in my journey. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions in a way that was clear and easy to understand. Her calm and reassuring demeanor gave me the confidence I needed to believe that I could make it through even the toughest moments.

Throughout my treatment, Dr. May was always there to guide me, providing me with the support and guidance I needed to navigate the complex world of cancer care. I have been praying really hard to dear God every single day for a phone call from Princess Margaret for booking me in for consultation and surgery. I was so fortunate to be referred to Dr. May. It was a very grim time and upon my first meeting with her I realized she was the silver lining. I was diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer and my case was particularly complicated. My initial doctor referred me to Dr. May because Dr. May is known as the most gifted surgeon in ovarian cancer. When I met her she was very genuine, kind and confident. She explained the surgery in detail including all the possible risks. She took her time to answer all my questions. She has a very special way of making you feel like you are her only patient and that she is right there with you. She truly is the best doctor I have ever met!! The surgery went very well. The recovery was challenging as expected and Dr. May and her team were there every step of the way. I am so grateful for Dr. May and for the amazing work that she does. She is a blessing!!

Dr. May is in a class of her own! There is no other way to describe her. I am a physician and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year. I knew how complex ovarian cancer surgery and treatment is and that’s the reason I wanted to be treated by the best. When I asked my colleagues who they would recommend, Dr. May’s name kept coming up based on her surgical skills and clinical judgement. When I met Dr. May I immediately knew I made the right decision. She was very kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I felt reassured by her confidence and calm demeanor. Her team was amazing. Everyone I met in clinic, anesthesia screening unit, the surgical floor and the chemotherapy unit spoke highly of Dr. May and had tremendous respect for her.
