I have been having appointments with Susan for about 6 weeks. Im not sure if I could have coped without her right now. Susan really does care and makes sure I am held to account when needed. Obviously highly qualified but also able to connect directly with my issue. Im actually making progress which I never achieved previously. Highly recommend this therapist and practice.

A wonderful therapist and a great practice. The initial phone call from me was made so easy by Susans receptionist. He answered most of my questions before I needed to ask them and made the first booking super easy, reassured me about my confidentiality and fully explained what I could expect my first appointment to be like. Susan is very warm yet firm with me when she needs to be. Obviously very qualified but also naturally intuitive and smart. So happy to have found her. I just recommended her to my sister. Thank you!

I have been a client of Susan's for 10 months. Because of the current situation she suggested we switched to phone consultations. I was very unsure at first. I just finished our first appointment and it was great. Susan is wonderful in person and it seems also very adept over the phone! I'm looking forward to being able to return in person but for now, this set up is enabling me to continue with my therapy and keep moving forward. Thanks Susan for your flexability, I really appreciate it :)

Wish I had reached out to Susan sooner! Such a wonderful and obviously very experienced therapist. Great practice, highly recommend. (Only downside, I had to wait a while for a suitable appointment time slot to become available.)

Thank you for your review. As a popular private practice unfortunately we are not always able to offer immediate appointments. However, the more flexible clients can be the easier it is to find a suitable slot but we are normally able to accommodate within a fairly short time period. Once a client has their appointment time / day / frequency it becomes theirs until they decide otherwise. This guarantees follow up when required. I finally persuaded my son to see Susan after years of struggling with anxiety. He really didnt want to go but now looks forward to every appointment. Progress is slow but steady...and there is progress at last! I don't review very often but wanted to reach out to anyone who has been living with anxiety or the effects it has on family and friends to say this therapist really can help you. Thank you very much Susan, and thank you to your receptionist who helped make my son feel welcome and relaxed before his first appointment. A really great practice :)

Biography

Counselling Psychology and is a member of the The Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She works in full-time private practice, providing cognitive-behavioural therapy to individuals and couples. Susan is a Diplomate in both Psychotherapy and Counseling with the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy; and a clinical member of the Collage of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Susan also has extensive experience working with Employee Assistance Programs and in Rehabilitation.
