We were lucky to have this doctor take care of my father in the hospital. Actually spent the time to determine what was important to him but understood what was realistic. This helped our family plan instead of being in limbo

Our son was diagnosed was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. The treatment caused him to have difficulties with his attention, memory, and difficulties walking. Dr. L spent a tremendous amount of time working with my son and with the therapists to get him walking again. We are so appreciative of his kindness and dedication.

After a 50 minute meeting with a kind, gentle, helpful physiothpist I meet with Dr. Langelier. What a shock. He was condescending, abrupt and disrespected personal boundaries. His advice was neither practical or insightful. Worse doctor I've had at Princess Marharet.

Dr. Langelier is a great doctor, he is very knowledgeable. He always cares about my wife health and helped us a lot through the post-cancer treatment process. He is one of the best at UHN Toronto.

He did listen and paid attention to all the information I provided. He asked relevant questions, making me feel I was understood after all the frustrations with not being understood I have had with other medical professionals over almost three months. He asked thorough questions and did comprehensive exam on me for a solid hour, yet still on time (to start and to finish). He gave constructive recommendation and a clear plan for what is next. Finally after being seen by him., I start feeling hopeful about my condition and recovery.

Dr. Langelier was professional and had a great demeanor. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me and answer questions. He set fair expectations and was positive in all interactions without making me feel like the prognosis was too sunny and not realistic. I truly appreciated his care. Dr. Langelier was a refreshing change from many other interactions that I have had where I felt like a number or an inconvenience within the health system. Dr. Langelier developed a rapport with me that I truly believe assisted in my recovery. To have a voice in your own care and have a doctor that actively listens is amazing! I would strongly recommend Dr. Langelier.

Dr. Langelier was a resident doctor while I was at the PLC in Calgary. He took the time to speak with me and my husband and discuss the events in hospital, what my expectations were, and educate my family on what my condition entailed. I consistently felt a barrier between the 'doctors' and me, as if they were never telling me why they were doing things and ordering certain tests. David was extremely transparent yet respectful of my privacy, always asking before speaking in front of family or friends. This physician is compassionate, loving and well educated. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.
