An amazing doctor with a warm and sincere bedside manner. Answered all my questions before and during my recent colonoscopy. He successfully removed a potentially dangerous flat polyp with no trouble and offered assurances throughout the procedure. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Quereshy, you be in great hands. Dr Fayez Quereshy is the BEST Colorectal Surgeon in Toronto. Never seen a more KIND and CARING person. Even though he is extremely busy, he takes the time to reply PROMPTLY to emails. Whether it is questions before the surgery or questions after the surgery, he is so PROMPT & CLEAR in his response. His KNOWLEDGE and VAST EXPERIENCE is beyond compare. He is very THOROUGH in his work and IMMENESLY DEDICATED to making every surgery a success. He does not leave any stone unturned. During my surgery, he took the right decision to alter the approach and SUCCEEDED in taking out the cancer which was extremely difficult to locate. THANKS to him I am now cancer free. THANK GOD I decided to go with him as my surgeon. He SAVED my life!

Dr Quereshy is ONE OF A KIND. My wife and I are so thankful for him taking on my case from out of town when no real good options were presented to me locally. He thoughtfully and very kindly/personally explained the options to us and agreed with our decision to proceed.

What a wonderful decision that was, the surgery was a wild success - he was able to do it laparoscopically ( after we were told by other doctors this wasnt even an option ), I didnt even need a temporary bag ( we were told by other docs I would have to live with a bag for life ) - he throughly inspected my abdomen and there was no sign of cancer there ( when we were told by other doctors there was likely to be disease in the peritoneum )

His team is highly skilled aswell, and its hard to describe the level of care that is provided and how much of an impact that has to you as a patient, I was able to return home day 3 post op with no complications what so ever.

I am so very fortunate to have Dr Quereshy as my surgeon, and I am so grateful to him and his team.

Dr. Quereshy is amazing! There is no other way to describe him. I am a 42 year old healthcare worker, who was diagnosed with rectal cancer. My case was particularly complicated. I asked my colleagues who they would recommend. One name kept coming up- Dr. Quereshy. He was recommended based on his technical skills and clinical judgement. Dr. Quereshy was so kind and compassionate. He took the time to explain options and the expected course. The whole team was excellent.
He gave me hope at a time I felt I was at my lowest. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Quereshy and his entire team. They helped me navigate through a complex medical condition and allowed me to get back to my life and my children. It is impossible for me to conceive of a finer doctor than Fayez Quereshy or of a better health care experience than the one Dr. Quereshy has just engineered for me. I am home today after emergency surgery last week to remove serious tumours Dr. Quereshy identified and successfully removed. I have no doubt he has saved my life. His excellence as a surgeon and health-care provider in general is rivalled only by his excellence as a human being. If you have any negative stereotypes about surgeons or doctors in general, none of them will be borne out by this one. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, and the whole family was shocked to hear the news. Doctor Quereshy performed a very successful tumor removal operation for me. He gave me and my family hope during our hardest time. I recovered quickly from the operation. He is not only good at medical skills, but also very considerate to patients. He just is amazing.

When I was diagnosed with cancer, my world was forever transformed. After numerous appointments with different medical professionals, I was referred to Dr. Fayez Quereshy at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Dr. Quereshy’s holistic approach and personal touch helped me maintain a positive mindset. Princess Margaret provided a haven. Their staff supported me throughout the journey and gave comfort in the knowledge that I was not alone in this fight. Dr. Quereshy educated me on my illness, offered encouragement, and provided guidance on treatment alternatives. Most importantly, he gave my family and I hope by establishing a bond of trust that continues today.
