I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Dr Nick Vertzyas & his staff. In my initial consultation for a knee replacement, Dr Vertzyas walked me through the whole process with care & consideration. The check sheet given to me by Cathy before my surgery was a great help. On the day of my surgery to say I was very apprehensive is an understatement, but Dr Vertzyas was so reassuring, caring & sympatric, I knew I was in good hands. I strongly recommend St Vincent's Rehab. The Physiotherapy staff were excellent in both the gym & hydrotherapy pool. Six months down the track my knee is back to normal, what more can you ask for. In my opinion Dr Vertzyas is an outstanding surgeon and would have to be the best in his field. I would highly recommend Dr Vertzyas to anyone needing a knee replacement.

I would like to commend Dr Nick Vertzyas for his professionalism, compassionate nature, patience and expertise. Dr Vertzyas did both knee replacements for my mother , one 10 years and the other 5 years ago. My mother is a new lady to date still no pain and can not stop recommending Nick to everyone. My mother is very nervous when it comes to any operation, Dr Vertzyas put mum at ease , took the time with her to explain the procedure and his expertise in his field is outstanding. Dr Vertzyas has exceptional skills as a surgeon with so much genuine care for his patients but he is also a caring and real human being. I would highly recommend Dr Vertzyas to everyone anytime. It is my great pleasure to write a review for Nick Vertzyas. Nick did a knee replacement for me 5 years ago. When you have surgery, you usually take the surgeon your GP recommends. Sometimes the results are extraordinary as was my case. Nick is an outstanding surgeon with a reassuring, professional manner that sets your mind at ease. He is a professional of the highest order. My knee is as good today as it was following surgery. Well done Nick.

My wife and I needed 'Knee Replacements' on all our knees. To date, we have completed one knee replacement each with Dr. Nick. We both agree that our experience from beginning to end has been beyond our expectations. Friends and others always ask me to repeat how long it has been since the surgery, as they find it hard to believe how rapid the recovery has been. This doctor and his team are on top of their game. Dr. Vertzyas performed a total knee replacement for me in March 2020.
I am walking without a limp for the first time in many years I am pain free and the operation went extremely well.

Dr Vertzyas,
Performed a total hip replacement for me. From the first time I called his office and spoke to his office managers and and until my post operative consultation I have been impressed by their professionalism, and their commitment to me and my concerns.
Dr Vertzyas and his staff are always available to answer any of My questions and ally any fears that I had.
Dr. Vertzyas pre operative and post operative care is first class. I had the feeling that I was his only patient..
The actual operation went better than I expected, I have been pain free from the time I woke in the recovery ward, I put this down to the skill of Dr Vertzyas.

If I can score higher than 5 stars I would have. Dr Nick Vertzyas is just a true gentleman, passionate about what he does, compassionate with his patients, your sincere caring makes a world of difference. Every day of my life, in my new hip, will be better and pain free because of you.

Nick has performed a total of 3 knee and 2 hip replacements for our family. As well as being an extremely competent surgeon, he is a wonderful person. The majority of specialists operating today could learn a lot from Nick on how to speak to and care for patients beyond the operating theatre. Great outcomes on all operations. I would say run and don't walk to see him - but as a prospective patient, you probably have to walk slowly. H Lecop.

Dr Vertzyas is a wonderful doctor, who is extremely passionate about his job. I had a total knee replacement, and I felt extremely confident with Dr Vertzyas at both my pre- operative and post-operative appointments. He speaks in a very gentle and reassuring manner. His staff are also very helpful. I am 6 weeks post surgery and I am feeling great . The operation was a success and scarring is minimal.
Following his protocol post surgery , which includes physio and hydrotherapy is a must , and I attribute my results to that . I have just come back from a 4 day holiday attending a wedding interstate, I was able to do a 1 hour boardwalk which included steps effortlessly , and also walked barefoot along the beach on hard sand. I swam in the ocean, and I even put on 2 inch heels , which I danced with at the wedding. Everyone I meet is amazed with my progress. I am starting to enjoy all activities again.
