I have never met or spoken with Dr Fisher. He has never had access to my medical records. And yet his god like abilities alllowed him to write two reports about me which, amongst other things, offered diagnosis and a recommendation that I receive ECT. He was also able to authoritatively discuss my state of mind, motivations and intentions some 4 years earlier. Thankfully, no one actually involved in my care took any of this nonsense seriously and continued on the basis of their own diagnosis based on access to my health records and person meetings and scoffed at and rejected his opinions and recommendations.

I went to this doctor for a report. My appointment was for 2 in the afternoon, and he saw me at 2:25, around half an hour late. While I was waiting, his secretary a couple of times said, very nonchalantly, 'doctor won't be late.' Anyhow, when I saw the doctor, without saying any sorry for being late, started talking about writing a repot. Then his phone rang and he started talking to someone about his laptop being repaired. After 5 to 10 minutes on the phone, he turned to me and asked whether I had any paperwork for him, which I gave them to him. He started reading them without sharing any information with me, even not looking at me. After 10 minutes or so, he said to me that his report would cost around $4000, and I would have to check with my insurance company to see if they cover any part of it. He didn't ask me any questions about my depression or how long I'd been working for the company and my job. He said, "everything is written in the paperwork, so he won't bother me with questions." That took about 45 minutes and he said that time was up now and I should talk to his secretary about making a two hour appointment for assessment and then he will prepare the report. I went to the secretary and told her that I needed a two hour appointment. She made me an appointment for November and then told me that the cost of today's consult was $580, and I'll get about half of it back from the medicare. I left the clinic with my tail between my legs, around $300 out of pocket with nothing achieved!! My wife says I should see a different doctor, and I think she's got a very good point there.
