I went to see Dr Crookham for a knee injection. He was very accommodating of any and all questions and was very skillful in the aspiration and injection procedures.

After waiting almost a month and a half to get in to see dr crookham I finally got in. Once they brought me to a room I then waiting another 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before anybody came in to see me. Once he finally came in he then said " what's your name again?!" I understand doctors see many patients in a day but at least take the time to read the clients file before entering. Then after describing my foot pain to him and that I have tried many options, he briefly looked at my foot and chalked it up to plantar fasciitis. He was very brief with me and did not seem to genuinely care about my problem. After trying to rebook for a 6 week follow up for prolotherapy the receptionist told me he was taking all of March off and that I had to call back in 6 weeks to try and rebook. Overall my experience with the Allan McGavin sports medicine clinic was extremely frustrating. Not something I expected from one of the top sports med clinics around.

No problems with this doctor. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and informative. I did have an ultrasound guided cortisone injection which was completely pain free. This helped but did not completely solve my problem and he informed me it might not. He referred me to a good physiotherapist.

I had severe knee pain, which I had been off work for, and he and his team of physiotherapists misdiagnosed me and implemented the wrong treatment plan. When I wasn’t improving, it was implied that it was because I wasn’t doing their exercises. When my pain was at its worst, I pressed Dr. Crookham to do something and he became angry and grumbled some unintelligible words as he left the room. I was able to receive an accurate diagnoses elsewhere and have been pain free since. I do not recommend this doctor.

I hv. L.P.N. /Unit Clerk 30 years total. And now Hospital transport.. I walk 7 hours daily and wore my knees out aft 2 yr. I was FREAKED out.scared. with my 1st Cortisone. Fox. Withdrawal. HE WAS KIND.UNDERSTANDING..and..MINDFULL.to my unique experience..HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Brilliant Insightful Doctor.......

He was abrupt and referred my questions to his assistant who was very helpfuL. I was given 2 printouts and 1 option was not done at his clinic. The post procedure info mentioned a follow up appt which he did not do. I felt slightly abandoned.
