Dr. Cucan dismissed my account of my pain symptoms and over 3 sessions never once even probed into my symptoms, I'm pretty sure she didn't believe me. The only thing she ever said was "it could be anxiety, you might be psyching yourself out" but still didn't suggest any solution if that was indeed the issue. Find a doctor who actually cares about you.

Given the pandemic, Dr. Cucan went well above the call of duty in getting me an important appointment at the Montfort Hospital. This necessitated her following up on a monthly basis for 2+ months to ensure that the appointment was arranged. Cannot thank Dr. Cucan and her staff enough for her comprehensiveness, thoroughness, and organization. Much appreciated. Look forward to dealing with her for my medical needs in the future. I am a cancer survivor, been attacked by a dog, a brain injury and many other serious health issues. I’ve seen a lot of doctors over the year. I’m turning 60. Dr. Cucan has gone well beyond what any doctor ever has to cater for me and my health issues. She’s a gift to the medical profession. She’s patient, an excellent doctor, caring and compassionate. All these qualities make her an exceptional doctor. I’m so blessed to have find her. No matter how sick I get or hard hard things get, I know I’ll be okay in her care. I am so very thankful for her.

I love Dr. Cucan. What a great doctor! She is so wonderful with my whole family. I have issue regarding the birth of my first daughter and she help me out and listen to me. I was so happy to have her help. :) Great doctor and I love how she takes her time with us. We never feel rush! Thank you Dr. Cucan!

Dr. Cucan has been my family GP for 6 years, I was lucky enough to be taken on by her when my previous GP closed her practice. Previous to Dr. Cucan my experience with my former doctors was Horrendous, extended wait times for booked appointments, unresponsive to requests for support, and a general lack of care or concern. I am surprised by the negative reviews here as my experience has never been anything but superb. Dr. Cucan, for me, has been attentive, supportive well versed and never too quick to throw a prescription at a problem. I have engaged her regarding mental health issues and she has been extremely supportive and worked hard to get me into a specialist, when I was hit by a car while cycling and the Hospital treated me as a nuisance I felt confident engaging with her to ask for help advocating for me and my concerns. As far as I am concerned she is one of the best Family Practitioners out there, if you feel you aren't being heard you should let her know honestly what your concerns are regarding her investment.

Would truly appreciate if this review remains up here; This doctor is dismissive and doesn't pay attention to the symptoms that she is being told by her patients (particularly the elderly population). She doesn't run the proper tests and due to her negligence there has been serious impact on her patients in her care. Please be mindful and don't be afraid to get a second or third opinion.

Im stunned at the 2 reviews below because it was my exact experience. Dr Cucan didnt appear to be interested in my symptoms; I provided her with my med history and explained my concern of a possible recurrence of a serious illness; she dismissed my concerns by saying there was no data to support it and suggested I suddenly had allergies. What does one do? Just wait it out until its too late I guess.
