My Daughter is 3 and half and he's been amazing. Takes the time to listen and gives such helpful advise. I've never waiting more then 20 mins to see him. He is usually on time.
He should really think about getting a new receptionist.

Dr Rochowski has been pediatrician for my 2 kids aged 5 and 3 from day 1. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Doctor Rochowski is friendly, and good with children. Which, as a pediatrician should go without saying. But what really sets Doctor Rochowski apart is how good he is with parents. For both of my daughters, he has been calm, reassuring and helped talk my wife and I though things troubling and confusing. A fantastic doctor all around.

We were really lucky to have found Dr. Rochowski. He always takes a lot of time to explain everything and never makes us feel rushed. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to reach his receptionist (who is very kind and nice) to book an appointment. There are times where I would be calling for an hour straight trying to get through. Other than that Doctor is great and receptionist is really sweet.

I enjoy having him as my kids doctor. But I find lately he seems rushed and doesn't give you all the information at a yearly check up ie weight, height, procentile like he use too. It is impossible to reach his reception which I find extremely frustrating and consider finding a new doctor because of it.

Dr. Rochowski is very helpful and knowledgeable, although I agree with a previous reviewer that he is not strong or supportive in the area of breastfeeding. Our kids are, luckily, quite healthy so I do feel like we get the "brief" version of check-ups. If we have a serious concern, and communicate that clearly, he takes the time to have an intelligent conversation. I feel like his passion for kids and medicine is probably more fulfilled through his work at CHEO, and perhaps this is why he can be impatient with the day-to-day, mundane aspects of a practice. But I do think that he would be an excellent doctor to have in your corner if you were facing a serious medical issue.

All of this being said, we are thinking of leaving his practice for the simple reason that we cannot contact them, or access him, when we need to. It took me a full month to get through to his office to book my daughter's 1-year check-up. I tried calling at different times of day, and on different days of the week, and either got a busy signal or a message saying the office was closed for the day, and please do not leave a message. This morning my daughter woke up with croup-like symptoms. When I couldn't get through to Dr. R's office, I took her to a walk-in clinic and waited 2 hours to see a doctor who appeared so confused/unsure/bumbling that I didn't feel I could trust the prescription he gave me. So I called Dr. R's office again, and miraculously got through. I explained the situation to the receptionist and asked to please see the doctor today. She said there was no way I could be seen today. The "after hours" option she gave me was for a doctor at the Trainyards, after 4 pm. I do not find this to be a reasonable alternative.

Always takes the time to explain things to myself or my wife. Kind and courteous and is very good interacting with both our kids. Refers onto specialists without hesitation when needed. Cheers for the right hockey team too!

Not the greatest doctor I've met or dealt with. When told that the City required a booster for my child before school started he flipped out and was exasperated. Really unprofessional in front of me and my child. As someone in the healthcare industry I question his ability to show compassion and tact. He can be rude and impatient. Would not recommend him.
