Absolutely will never give my loved one over to him as a profession in the industry and knowledge of autism this dr over medicated makes scripts for sleeping pills available on a regular basis dies not find the root of the causes and has never once considered the holistic approach of the individual. Is old school and needs to retire.

We have always found Dr Wurth to be courteous and helpful. Dr Wurth has been involved with our son for many many years. Dr Wurth has a respectful caring way with our son who has an intellectual disability. Dr Wurth's interaction with our son is a joy to see. Always listens and responds in a respectful way
As a rural family we have been pleased to have such a good relationship and support from Dr Wurth

Anyone who's ever worked in the disability and mental health industries or in medicine would be astonished at how someone like Dr Wurth could last so long in the profession. Abrasive, arrogant, rude and uncaring not only towards patients but just about everyone else who had the displeasure of meeting him including health care professionals.

I was a staff member at a facility which Dr Wurth visited annually for 15 years I was there he was arrogant had a God complex and didn't give a crap what you thought and if you questioned him you would be called into the office and asked to explain why ypu questioned a professional would never recommend

The psychiatric profession gets a bad reputation at times, sometimes unfairly, sometimes less so. Unfortunately, Dr Wurth epitomises the qualities which should have long been banished form the profession.

Years ago I worked in the disability support industry as a counsellor. Some of our clients and families were very upset by having to deal with Dr Wurth, and my own personal encounter with him was enough to draw the conclusion he should never be recommended under any circumstances.

A number of clients and GPs have complained about him. I am saying this as a medical doctor. Why he continues to practice despite the harm he has done or can do is a mystery.

Was referred to Dr Wurth for ongoing care and management of my 18 year old son who has autism and a severe intellectual disability. Within minutes of the consultation I found him to be very rude and dismissive. My son has been on a variety of medications for the past 13 years. When I was asked for every detail of his 13 years of medication I couldn't remember every particular detail. I was made to feel incompetent and inadequate to the point of tears. He brought nothing constructive to the consultation nor did he show any interest in actually speaking or engaging with my son. I would definitely NOT recommend him and am looking around for a more sympathetic and supportive doctor.

We've been seeing Dr Wurth for a complex-needs autistic man (our son) for 6-7 years. We have absolute confidence in Dr Wurth. He "got" our son immediately, on the very first visit - which makes him the only health professional ever to "get" our son.

He's very straightforward and direct. You might find his manner abrupt because he cuts straight to the point. But we like that, and it suits our son; Autists prefer directness.
