Dr. callahan and her team have been so helpful. I was struggling with mental health issues and obesity, and was so grateful for the care I received. Dr. Callahan always listens, truly c ares and helped me get back to work full time. I am so grateful. Thank you!

Doctor Callahan replaced my old doctor when he retired. At first, I did like her but over time some of what she has said to me has been borderline sexist and completely out of touch. I don't do well on hormonal birth control, and each time I tell her I am not on it - she insists I start taking Folic Acid so that the "baby is born healthy". Meanwhile I am not trying to get pregnant - why would you say something like that? That is one of many unprofessional experiences I've had with her. Agree with other comments on she can be dismissive when you ask her about something she doesn't agree with. I'm not in the medical field but when i do bring concerns forward about testing and medication side effects, I am treated like my opinion does not matter. I miss my old doctor so much.

I had dr. Callahan for several years. Always considered myself lucky to have her. She was professional and seemed to want to help. Recently however, I discovered that she had been gaslighting me medically. Test results had showed a growth. I was told the tests were normal...for years. I kept asking for her to look back into the issue and she'd refuse. Here I am almost 10 years later, realizing how many issues could have been avoided had I been dealt with honestly and taken seriously. I'm being asked by current medical professionals why it's taken me so long to deal with this. We deserve better care than this. If you feel something is wrong, do not take no for an answer. Push for more testing. Advocate for your health.

Pushy. Inauthentic. Unhelpful. Quick to assume. Follows up with call next morning but doesn't say it's her calling only that it is Riverside Hospital and wants my pharmacy info so she can call to make sure they give me Gardisil vaccination. I don't have a regular pharmacy because I don't have prescriptions. She waited for a good 10-15 minutes while I tried to find info on closest pharmacy to me. Guess that's how much she gets paid every time a patient of hers gets this thing. Awful experience.

Poliytically correct in speech, does not understand human emotion after long bouts of intense pain is more thsn a batural response but quite normal and logical. I would be cautious, around her.

I was with my previous doc for 20 years - Dr Callahan has been a breath of fresh air for me. Always on time, always willing to listen, and amazing with referrals and follow ups. I was going through a mental health issue, and she took the time to speak with me and offer solutions, and made me feel comfortable during a rocky time in my life. 100% recommend.
