Dr Haq was a blessing. She was supportive throughout the process and took the time to ensure we understood options, situation etc.

Rude, blunt, fires off questions like they are accusations. Fails to show empathy and dumps bad results in her patients' laps without properly explaining things. She never sent in the urgent referral she said she would before she retired and I was a high-risk patient. My two visits with her left me feeling horrible about the experience. Since she has just retired, you won't have to worry about having to see her. What I did respect though, is that is sent me for an ultrasound when I needed it, so that was a positive thing. It's just her bedside manner that really rankles.

Excellent and knowledgeable doctor. Goes the extra mile each and every time. Makes time to follow-up, which does influence her punctuality. But if she attends to all patients the way she has for me, it is understandable that she gets delayed. Very compassionate and caring. Extremely positive.

Horrible doctor. Never on time and would be frustrated if English is your second language. Treats her patient and employees like a dog, ordering them around and degrading us/ them. I would never be able to fully talk to her about my medical problem because she would be half way out the door. She does not care about her patients as I see her leaving mid conversation with her patients ALL THE TIME. She would tell us something and we would remind her of what she says and she denies it without checking. And when she realizes she has said it, she would stop being mad and speak to us calmly… Her arrogance and negligence should be investigated...

Dr Rashida Haq is an amazing oncologist, yes she is extremely busy and may not have time for non medical small talk. However her knowledge, professionalism and dedication are second to none. Care for her patients is exceptional, I am so grateful for Dr Haq’s care, I’m blessed to have had this wonderful woman who looked after me for many years until I moved over 450 Kim’s away. Thank you Dr Haq

Dr Haq was part of the wonderful team at St Michel’s who successfully treated my stage 3 b her2 breast cancer in 2013. She took my concerns seriously and 2 years ago sent me for a PET scan .It was discovered that I had stage 1 lung cancer. Again the St Mike’s and St Jos team ( Dr.McIntyre and Dr Kl) came to my rescue and after minimally invasive surgery, the cancer was successfully removed. Because Dr Haq worked so quickly, I am well and thriving. God bless the Unity team .If I had one wish for Unity and all its patients it would be that they got a PET scanner.Thank you to all!

I've been going to her for three years. She is never on time, and when I read what she wrote in my file it was all wrong. Since COVID, my pharmacy has had to send in prescription renewals in five times before they get a response. Her office told me that I didn't have to come into the hospital for my annual appointment and that she would call. She DID NOT call. I called the unit, they of course don't pick up and say they'll call back in 24-48 hours. I will be asking my family doctor or my surgeon for a referral to a new oncologist. Avoid her if possible.

Rude. Dismissive of patient input. Misinformed of drug contraindications. Her arrogance and negligence should be investigated.

A contrarian. Interposes personal bias into her professional practice. Very highhanded around single focus responses to ongoing decisions that do not relate well enough to presentation of symptoms and scans.
