This SPECIALIST diagnosed me in one visit with having MND 90% SURE!! no tests were done at this stage however she gave me 3 years to live never the less, sent a grief counsellor to my door , pretty much gave me up for DEAD!
Was like just another day in the office for her.
That was 3 years ago now and now turns out its looking more like Thyroid issues as my condition has not changed dramatically in that time. What concerns me the most is her almost delight in diagnosing MND and complete lack of empathy regarding what she was putting me and my family through. She seemed more excited about impressing the young intern she had working with her.
In short BEWHARE and seek a second opinion because she is dubious at the least.

Dr Brown is the most amazing Doctor. She is approachable and friendly and so professional. She explains things in terms easily understood by those not medically trained and is thorough. You can tell she is highly respected and such an asset to QLD Health.

Dr Helen Brown is very thorough and knows what to ask so she gets all the information. I always leave knowing I've explained everything that has been happening. I too hope that she is being supported in her very busy role. The public system is certainly very lucky to have her.

Great doctor. She is the best. She is an asset to the public health system. Let's hope she is not over worked and under valued like a lot of other public doctors.

Dr Helen Brown is a great very user friendly specialist Neurologist. Her knowledge, compassion, and bedside manner is first class.

Dr Brown would have to be one of the best neurologists in not only Brisbane but in the whole of Australia. She is an asset to the public hospital system. She is maintains her professionalism and gives as much time as is required under what seems to be extremely demanding workloads in a stretched public hospital system.

Best doctor ever, she spends the time to get to know what is going on with you, asks questions that reminds you of things that you should have told her, she gets to the point, and helps people. Great bedside manner, takes into consideration what my partner also says about my condition. Really she is very down to earth explains everything very well, I could not recommend her more highly to anyone.

I love Dr. Brown. I have been seeing her for 2.5yrs now and she was he only one to put me through all of the tests to get my diagnosis. She knows what she is talking about, is highly personable and I highly recommend her.
