This doctor is awful.

Missed diagnosis and terrible bedside manners. He is negligent and careless and caused bad injuries in an endoscopy . Ended up in the hospital for days due to blood loss.

The doctor and the clinic were unwilling to help. Waste of time and health. Why is he still allowed to practice?

I was sent a third time to the clinic to deal with hemorroids. He examined me and said I had anal warts. I have no idea how he came to this conclusion. three months later I see a dermatolgist and he confirms I do NOT have warts but hemorroids. I am so frustrated with this professional.. we in Ontario have more than our share of incompetent MDs on taxpayer dime - with no accountability. And its getting worst. How could he change my problem from hemorroids to warts on visit 4 to the Rudd clinic when all his peers said it was hemmorroids.

Likely one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor. Dr T.E. Abraham truly has no passion for his job or helping patients. Rude, unprofessional and truly unhelpful. He just wants to get you in and out of the door- won't even let you finish answering his condescending questions.

*******
Also, I don't understand how there's any 4 or 5 star reviews saying he's great because even my family doctor knows Dr Abraham is rude and unhelpful.

I was sent home in extreme pain after a colonoscopy by this "doctor" with a punctured colon. I returned two days later and he sent me upstairs for an x-ray . He told me to go to St. Mikes. He should have listened to me when I told him something is wrong but he brushed me off and sent me home. I live through a terrible 15 months because of what he did. There was no follow up or apology form Abraham or the Rudd Clinic. Never ever go to a private clinic for a medical procedure.

I made my way downtown to see Dr. Abraham and it was the biggest waste of my time and it was downright dissapointing. I am in my mid twenties and having some health concerns. I was under the impression that by meeting with this specialist that my questions and concerns would be answered. Instead, I was insulted, antagonized and talked down upon. This is by far the rudest encounter I've ever had in health care in my whole life. He cut me off every chance he got and spoke to me as if I was a child. Extremely rude and I was speechless at the end of my appointment. I took the day off of work to come to this appointment and I couldn't have been more unsatisfied with my appointment with this "Doctor". I took his behavior personal until I got home and saw all these terrible reviews for him and I realize he is just not good at what he does. Terrible bed side manner and honestly just not a good guy. Have your family doctors send your referrals to literally anywhere else. The reception and nurse were very polite and professional.

Saw Dr. Abraham Dec. 2020. Without question this is the guy for me. Very thorough, very professional. Answered all my questions in thoughtful and confident way. Looked me in the eye. Spoke very gently and knowledgeably. Inspired great trust. The staff were all wonderful. If a colonoscopy is not the most happy of tests but I knew I was in good hands.

I'm still perplexed as to why Dr. Abraham performed a colonoscopy on me if he was unwilling to diagnose or provide any helpful information to me. He simply stated he "didn't know" (even though I have a family history of colitis). I have been fortunate to have since been referred to a new Gastroenterologist who has correctly diagnosed me with Ulcerative Colitis and am now receiving medication and treatment. The pure negligence of Dr. Abraham is unbelievable.

Dr. Abraham at the Rudd clinic is the most unprofessional, rude and dismissive doctor I have ever seen. He made my symptoms seem irrelevant and treated me as if I didn’t understand simple anatomical terms (I am a medical professional working in diagnostic imaging). He didn’t let me fully explain my symptoms, he did not offer any suggestions for treatment or new medication for acid reflux. He gave me a requisition for an MRI with another patients name and information. I don’t know how he is still legally practicing medicine. Do not see this doctor, ask to see someone else because he will not help you.

Not good. I wouldn’t recommend going to the Rudd Clinic unless referred by your GP to a doctor your family doctor recommends and knows well within the clinic. In my case, this doctor didn’t review the patient medical history and the fact that one of my parents passed away from colorectal cancer, which in patients over 40, at least for a coloscopy as a precaution measure. Doesn’t answer questions and make some broad statements that dont apply to a particular case as each patient is different.
