Dr Vitalie has been my son’s nephrologist for 8 years. He is outstanding in all areas. Very personable, caring and trustworthy. Forever grateful to have had him as our son’s specialist.

Dr Vitale is one of very, very few doctors that cares about the PATIENT, not his WALLET BASE! Doctors like George are few and far between. he is most certainly one of the main reasons i am still alive to write this recommendation. Trust him because HE actually cares about YOU!

He cares about keeping his average up and not so much about you. He will kiss butt till he realizes that you aren’t going to be an easy solve. Then he is rude and unreachable. Also if you come in with a idea like say you found a rare illness to test for and ask to be tested for it. He will write in his report that he took hours researching that and came up with the idea on his own. When he makes a very very serious mistake that is his mistake and creates issues for your future care that you can prove he did he blocks you from contacting him. That’s fine. I have proof. I wanted to do it the kind way and just let him rewrite the reports. If he won’t do it so only him and I know he made the mistake then I’ll be forced to take it to the college of physicians. What kind of healthy individual chooses that? Trick question. None.

Treat your patients better Vitale and stop being lazy.

Mi name is George Zaborsky. Ten years ago, I move to Alberta from Saskatchewan and because I have kidney problem, I ended on PD. I vas lucky, I met Dr Vitale and he is mi nephrologist all these years with his team of nurses in PD clinic in Calgary. I can say enough about him as a doctor and human being. Always helpful, always in good mood take care of me even when I ended up in Hospital. I can thank him enough for his expertise, help and care. I would recommend him to everybody.

Been dealing with Dr. Vitale for years and he's continually been wonderful to deal with. I was a complete mystery when I was first admitted to hospital about 15 years ago and Dr. Vitale and others were vital in diagnosing and treating me. He even remembered after I had moved away for 7 years and then returned. He truly cares about his patients.

I’d like to say something nice about him but unfortunately like quite a few of alberta’s specialists dr. Vitale’s issue is that if your diagnosis isn’t easy or already found and he’s going to have to do work to help you than you won’t get good help from him. I’m guessing he’s good if he knows the diagnosis and most of the work is done but dr. Vitale is truly allergic to work. In my case he decided my kidneys were fine because three urine tests all six months apart he had done were normal. He wasn’t willing to even look at or get the dozens of blood, leukocytes and protein positive ones that my doctor had at his office. He just decided I was a liar rather than do the work. On my own with a lot of pain and suffering I found my diagnosis but no help from him and it’s a super rare illness. Too bad he could have been the first doctor in the world to find this diagnosis but instead I did with my geneticist . He told me I won’t be offering you more help because there’s nothing wrong with you. All he had to do was his job. If you have something rare and hard to diagnose do NOT go to this doctor.
