I travel over two hours to see her and would not see anyone else at any distance. Was very highly recommended and can understand why after being in her care. Very thorough and very accessible. She gives me faith in our medical system and easily the best doctor I have seen in Canada over my 64 years around the sun.

I was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. I do not know anyone in healthcare but took it on myself to try and find the best doctor I could. I might be getting up there in age but I am young at heart and want to live! Dr. Cheema is an excellent, very experienced , focused, professional and knowledgeable specialist. She was the one everyone repeatedly recommended for my condition. I was at princess margaret downtown and resumed my care closer to home with Dr. Cheema. This was the best decision of my life. This Dr. is someone that cares and is extremely smart. Thank you.

hands down best doctor I have met to date and I am old. got me into trial against all odds. was gracious dealing with my know it all daughter. up front and honest about my situation. reception told me Dr Cheema is best. this is dr. Cheema at william osler health system.

Dr. Cheema is a remarkable doctor. She has treated two of my immediate family members (lung cancer and melanoma). She originally treated my brother and then when my mother was diagnosed we asked Dr. Cheema to also take her on as a patient. Not only is she willing to provide care to the primary person but she understands the affect this disease has on that persons entire support system. She is always willing to take my call and explain the situation and path of treatment. I realize that miracles are few and far between with cancer but I am sure there is not a better doctor with whom you can take this journey. She is thorough, realistic and on the leading edge of treatment. She also has a strong reputation for access to care for treatments that are either in trial or not yet available widely or only available through compassionate exemption programs. Over the years I have been conditioned to feeling the need to advocate for myself and my relatives in a medical context but with Dr. Cheema it has been the exact opposite. She acts as your advocate opening all available options to you including ones you never knew existed.

Great experience with Dr. Cheema and our father who has a limited ability to communicate in english. She is very patient, down to earth and thoroughly explains all the available options. It was also clear to us that she was very well regarded in the medical community as our father was moved around to different doctors such as his surgeon. It's also clear to us that she is up to speed on cutting edge treatments.

Very very good first class doctor. Very well regarded and head of various programs at the hospital but very down to earth. Put together a treatment plan for our mother, consistently followed, changed course when needed and explained why, always kept us informed.
