He leaves pre signed prescriptions with his daughter that works for him. When he is out of the office she will write whatever narcotic she thinks will work for the patient. She is not a nurse.

He is a great doctor but his staff is horrible with trying to contact them. I live 45 minutes from his office and had an appointment when I showed up they said it was cancelled. I asked to make an appointment before I left but was told they would call me later to reschedule. I waited a week.
Then started calling them once a day living them messages that I needed an appointment. After two weeks of calling them two to three times a day I gave up. I haven't heard from them still and it's been years.

I've seen a few neurologists in the Auburn/Opelika/Montgomery area, and I have to say he was the nicest and most down to earth one I've seen yet. I've only seen him once so far, but he listened to what I had to say, arranged for me to have tests done at the hospital(a few steps away) that same day, and even had me come back to the clinic the same day to get started on treatment. He even did the simple tests (blood pressure, etc) himself that assistants in clincs usually do. The only things I didn't like was one of the assistant's attitude and the fact that it took me a while to get in to see him because he was booked. I'd rather wait to see a good doctor though than to get in early to see one that's an idiot, so I will be sticking with this one.

I suffer from Cluster Headaches and Dr. Greene was assigned to me. The last bout I had, I could not reach doctor Greene by phone or fax and they never got back with me to help me or see how I was doing. I am going to find another doctor who can give me meds plus be available to see me during my cluster periods.
