Dr. Self has an amazing bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, kind and is quick to act. I couldn't be happier with the care I received and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Geriatric physician.

Dr. Self could not have been more caring in her treatment of my relative in hospice care. She provided guidance to the staff so that there was no concern on our part that our relative was being well taken care of whether or not the doctor was present. She gave us good information and we felt she was caring and concerned, that we were not just another patient of hers.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Self. She took care of my mother during her final months. Her warmth, compassion, and kindness really helped us through this difficult time.

She left Banner Health care after taking a maternity leave. She gave me, her patient, no notice whatsoever of her departure, and I found out about it only when I called for an appointment. Her thoughtlessness left me totally in the lurch, with no primary care physician. She wouldn't return my calls and e-mails. It took me months to find another doctor. Unprofessional to the Nth degree!

Genuinely concerned about my well-being. Instructed me on how to improve my diet and lifestyle to live healthier. My 2 year old daughter was with me, and she and Dr. Self got along extremely well.
