This man is a godsend. He is a renaissance man and has so much skill and talent it can only be god given. I cannot express any more how grateful I am for this man's skill set, kindness and abilities. He performed a surgery on me that literally changed the course of my life and that of my family. I will forever be grateful for him being recommended to me and for him caring for me.

I have been a patient of Dr.Farr since he was a resident at Nassau County Medical Center on Long Island (1986) where I was seen due to severe endometriosis. Later that same year, I was operated on by his brother at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Both his brothers have the same courteous bedside manners as Farr. My sister as well as my sister in law had endometriosis and experienced the same kindness and had the same relief from pain after surgery. He is thorough, knowledgeable and very caring. He will always be close to our family's heart as he saw us through a crushing disease that no one seemed to take quite seriously back in the 80s. I have remained a gyn patient of his as I have seen him both at Mount Sinai Hospital as well as at St. Luke's Hospital in New York City. I think the world of him.

I had been suffering with endometriosis for aproxiametly six years, until I could not bare the pain any longer. I was referred to Dr. Nezhat by my gyn. During my initial appointment he explained to me that I had stage four and had to get surgery immediately. My first surgery did not go well, as it was worse then anticipated. Dr. Nezhat was extremely conservative as I am in my early twenties and he wanted to ensue I'd be able to reproduce. He put me on lupron, and I had a horrible initial reaction. He was extremely attentive answering all phone calls no matter the time of day, meeting me at the ER. Never once was I in the dark, mislead or was he unavailable. Six months later of lupron treatment I was prepared for my second surgery. After 10 hours of surgery, and recovery I feel like a brand new person. Dr. Nezhat is an expert in his field, beyond my expectations. His hands are miricale workers and humble attitude is also a huge plus.

I will forever be grateful to Dr. Farr, a brilliant down to earth Doctor with an artist’s hands. 14 years ago my wife and I tried to start a family, and we couldn’t. We found out that my wife had Dermoid Cysts the size of a 2 golf balls in each one of her ovaries. Dr, Farr immediately took care of that. The surgery was recorded and when I watched the tape later, I was amazed at the magic he performed. Using lathroscopic surgery he was able to cut open the ovaries, scrape and remove the cysts and saw it all back. We were told that any doctor seeing what my wife had in her ovaries would have cut them off. In less than a year later my wife got pregnant with our first child. We now have 3 beautiful children. 13 years later when I think back at the people who had the most profound effect on my life, Dr. Farr is one of them.

Dr Nezhat recently operated on me for stage 4 endometriosis. He was caring and compassionate gifted and aware of all issues of endometriosis. I highly recomend him. I had a good experience with everyone aside from his surgical coordinator Donna who needs to be a little more receptive in getting back to patients. I also went to another endometriosis specialist who practically charged me for surgery prior to even having surgery (Dr Kaniyama) I am sure he is talented but he is all about the $$$$

This physician is an excelent surgeon, technically. However, I had complications after my surgery and he didn't know how to deal with my problems. Sitting right in front of him, I called another physician on my cell phone and told them I needed help. I was admitted to another hospital and ended up needing more surgery. Again, technically good his hands but his overal medical judgement is poor. Also, I had a bad experience at Mount Sinai Hosp. I had major surgery and they did not provide me with adequate pain relief.

Dr. Nezhat is one of the top OB/GYN surgeons in the country, specializing in minimally invasive surgery (laproscopic procedures). He is brilliant, caring, and extremely thorough. My private GYN recommended him when I needed a hysterectomy. I didn't require pain meds after the first 12 hours post op. Recouperation was fast. Had wonderful care at Mt. Sinai. The only problem was that Mt. Sinai admitting was chaotic, and that was an annoying procedures. But the care I received from floors nurses and doctors was great. Make sure they ID you correctly in "Admissions." Their anesthesiologist also was excellent. Had wonderful care from Dr. Nezhat and the hospital. He is the Director of Div. of Gynecologic Oncology, but you don't have to have cancer to use him.
