Dr. Alweiss is more concerned with his new affiliation with Englewood Hospital than actually treating patient. Very eye opening after being a patient for over 10 years.

I recently went to see Dr Alweiss for hand and arm pain. I was very anxious and was immediately put at ease. A test was performed and I was thrilled to find out the reason I haven't been sleeping and have an answer for my pain. I had a very positive experience. Dr Alweiss was kind, very knowledgable and proficient. I would highly recommend him.

Unfortunately I have been to several neurologists over the past couple of years without relief from continuous headaches. Finding Dr. Alweiss has helped me tremendously and I now find myself finally becoming my old self. I personally didn't have any problems with his staff but I really wouldn't have cared because I found the doctor, Dr. Alweiss, to be respectful, knowledgable & most importantly effective in helping me.

I've been seeing Dr. Alweiss for the past 5 years and I can't say enough positive things about him. Tremendous knowledge and skill. After going through numerous check ups and tests with other doctors and neurologists, Dr. Alweiss was able to diagnose my condition as CIDP and has actually improved it. I have a lot of confidence in him. I'm in my 40s and have seen a lot of doctors in my life. He's THE sharpest I've seen.
Reading the other comments, I can't say I disagree with some of the negative views of the staff. But really it's just a few individuals on the front lines. Most of the people behind the scenes are fine. And regardless, once you get past that you're in the hands of one of the smartest doctors you'll ever meet.

In the past 18 months I have seen dr. alweiss THREE times presenting with symptoms of Parkinson's disease. He completely missed it and said that although I was constantly falling and had severe tremors it was probably a chronic back condition.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease after ONE visit with the Doctors at Neurological Institute where I will continue my treatment.

VERY poor staff. I worked in a doctors office for over 10 years. NEVER would i even think about talking to a paitent the way this woman Nikki spoke to me. Extremley disrespectful! Does bot deserve to have a job working with other people. If they got rid of their staff and hired someone professional, this office would be amazing! Im disgusted.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alweiss for YEARS. I thought we had a great relationship, this year I realized how he could careless if I am dying in pain. He is only worried about getting his payment when you come to his office. He has an awful attitude when you call his office and need his help. What is the point of being someone's doctor if they can't count on you. He has hung up on me when he calls back b/c he is so mad that I even bothered calling him with my health issue. I have to ask him to run tests, since I am severely afraid that he is missing something. 11 years now and he still can't find a cure or a reason for my health condition. He is supposedly a great neurologist but I am not seeing that. I unfortunately had to go elsewhere b/c he is only in this for the money. He doesn't want to help me and make the pain go away. He wants to keep me coming in for office visits and ignore me while in his office. He is so arrogant. He should think back to why he started in this profession.
