Misdiagnosed my son for a year despite concerns from more than one of his medical students. Would show up 30 minutes late for the first appointment of the day.

This was the worst doctor I could imagine having the misfortune of taking my child to see and I wouldn't recommend any parent waste their time taking their child to see him for a routine checkup. He clearly doesn't care what you have to say and spent less than 5 minutes in the room. I had to ask to know what my son's weight and height were and his percentiles ... he couldn't be bothered to look. I will never step foot in that clinic again. I don't feel like he even took my concern about my son's teeth seriously. Terrible bedside manner to say the LEAST!
Looking at these other ratings I am surprised to see he has been given 4 or 5 stars.

He was working with a student and did not listen to him half of his speech and did not give me even one min to talk. what is the point of seeing my daughter then...
At this office they rush you over the phone, but the waiting time is like 1 hr when you have an appt.
I was not impressed with this Dr. Patidar at all.
I was confused

Dr. Patidar is awesome dr. He fixed very old problem of my daughter that no other dr. Could.. However, I could never get his appointment when I need to see him for simple issues like stomachache or cold and flu. All his appt.s are 2 months in advance.. His staff says call at 8:30 in the morning for first appt. and if you call at like 8:45 then you can't get appt. she rushes so much that before I ask next question she hangs up the phone. he needs better staff..

Best pediatrician I have seen in Edmonton so far. He always makes my son feel comfortable in his office, he was the only doctor who was able to figure out what was wrong and finally treat my boy.

Dr. Patidar does not listen to what you have to say, he is rushed in his appointment. Like a previous commenter, he told me that he never had a child cry the way my child did during an appointment (obviously not true, because the same thing happened to someone else!)and she wasn't even crying that much. She was just a little bit scared about what was happening. He tried to get through the examination very quickly and wasn't patient with trying to help her feel comfortable. He makes you feel like you are stupid for asking questions or having concerns about your child's health.

I have to agree with most of the other comments by parents regarding Dr. Patidar. He's always late, is always very rushed and in my opinion, not at all thorough with his patients or the parents. At a year, my daughter had developed some serious respirator issues. Every single time we went to see Dr. P, we were told to "wait it out, and come back in a month". It was very frustrating, and she was not getting better. Finally, we went to another clinic, she was giving some inhaler meds, and allergy meds and the problem disappeared. I do not trust Dr. Patidar at all.

I drove 45minutes to get to appointment after waiting almost 6 weeks. Arrived exactly at appointment time in hospital. Registration took forever and then was told that doctor had left already. By the way I drove around ten minutes to find parking today,it was unusually busy. This really is not right to be treated like my time doesn't count for nothing. This was supposed to be our first visit. Not off to a good start.
