Was sent to the Mis with appendicitis for a CT scan. From the scan my emergency appendectomy was booked for the next day, I was admitted overnight. The care and prompt attention I was given was amazing. My Dr was great and I had one of the best nurses I've ever had, a huge shout out to Nurse Renee! All in all a very well oiled machine with wonderful staff. Thank you for everything.

Newer again! My 10 year old son was waiting for 12 hours, after that emergency doc told us that has no idea what is going on and gave us super advise to come when it will be worth

I had the pleasure of being treated by Hailey, and I cannot recommend her enough. For the first time in a long while, I felt truly seen and heard by a medical professional. She didn’t just look at my charts; she listened to my story and treated me with a level of respect that is rare to find. Hailey is the kind of doctor who makes a patient feel like a human being rather than just a number. Her empathy and attention to detail are exactly what medicine needs more of. That napkin remains priceless to me, and you made me smile through my tears. I wish you nothing but success and a happy life.

Most incredible care from the nurses on all units, I can’t speak higher of the care and compassion they all showed during a very difficult time. Treated me with intense urgency, based on the condition I was in. All doctors were incredible as well, great communication and care

I was recently transported by ambulance for emergency gall bladder surgery, I was processed fairly quickly and held in emergency while being tested and assessed The staff were attentive and caring. Although it took some time to get a bed, it was expected knowing the pressures on emerg staff. I was placed in 5 west, specifically 5-11-3. While in there the nursing staff were amazing. Helpful attentive. It would be remiss to identify one nurse as they were all amazing. I was extremely grateful for the attention i received while in their care. I wonder if some of the previous reviewers would like to go to an American hospital and be bankrupted.

Waited over 10 hours for 1 x-ray while being lied to over and over saying that I’m next or there is 1 person ahead. Terrible facility and terrible job from the city.

On Monday Jun 23 my mom was taken to the Misericordia hospital by ambulance, my mom was 94. She was taken in because she couldn’t walk her hip was causing her issues no fracture but missing cartilage (that I read after i got home at 2:30 am.) My mom sat in the bed in the waiting room only saw by the nurse 2 times and a women who did an ekg then i was asked if my mom ever was in A Fib, ummm idk. But after the ask nothing was done. Finally at 3:20 ish she was put in a room. Told by an extremely nice nurse that my mom was 5th on the list. That was a hellish long wait because she was not seen by a dr until 7 pm, the dr said she was concerned about her heart and was going to have an xray of her hip and a heart trace done. We got the xray done at 7:30. We went back to the room, i talked to my mom while i folded her shirt. She went into cardiac arrest at that time, there was no saving my mom. She passed at 10:17 pm. I want to know if all patients are treated this way or just elderly? While i was thankful for the nursing staff when we finally got a room. I am not happy about the treatment she received. Would my mom still be here if she was seen sooner that day? Should the nurse who asked the question about the A Fib maybe should have done more or went and got a Dr? Are the elderly just not that concerning because they are old? What i saw happen to my mom that night i would not wish on anyone! At the end, the very helpful nurse told us we could stay with my mom and have as many ppl as we wanted so we did, but eventually we stepped into the hall because the room becomes quite warm, only to have some nurse walk up and ask us “are you done ****” are we DONE WITH HER wth kind of question is that? For real if that was the last hospital i could go to for treatment i would opt not to go.

I went into ER for a fever, chills, pain in my stomach and a bad cough. The triage was quick to see me, but the nurse there scolded me because I didn't take Tylenol (I'm a broke min wage employee who couldn't afford it at the time). She gave me Tylenol and took me to the waiting room. During the 4 and a half hours I was there, I was feeling faint (from my fever), and I helped myself to the ground so I didn't crack my head open. Been on the ground for at least half hour when one nurse told me "not to sleep there. It's a tripping hazard." To be clear, I was completely against the chairs and I wasn't in anyone's way. I then decided that I lay down on one of the treatment chairs beside the waiting room (as I saw other people doing while waiting for a room), that way, if I was feeling faint again, It can just happen. And again, while resisting the urge to faint again, another nurse told me that's not allowed. At this point I'm pretty frustrated. I'm not expecting expedited treatment, but the least they can offer something to alleviate the symptoms until a doctor was available. Just when I was about to leave, they FINALLY call me. Once I got into my room and dressed up, the nurses and Dr. Tseng were absolutely wonderful in making sure I was getting the treatment and diagnosis I needed to feel better.

Absolutely awful. Collapsed at work due to an asthma attack & was sent via ambulance. Waited for 12 hours in the waiting room just for the doctor to tell me I had a panic attack despite not running any labs on me. I started having a second attack while the Dr was in the room & he just stared at me while I used my inhaler. Got Ativan thrown at my face & told to leave. The waiting room was also filled with crack addicts. Would rather die than go there again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOPITAL!. We were treated horribly by all staff. I was ignored completely when I voiced a concern to ask if there were any cots available, they threated to call security when my daughter tried to lie down on the floor since there were no beds. They forget that people in severe pain are not friendly and cordial. My daughter doesn't usually swear but she was told off for doing so. Who doesn't swear when they're in pain. By the way, we are not a minority race so even white people can be treated like trash. The way we were treated was unnecessarily cold and heartless. These people are in careers to care for people??
