Our daughter was referred to Dr. Digravio by our family doctor after we had a psycho-educational assessment done. My daughter has ADHD, as well as a mental health diagnosis. Dr. Digravio, despite already having a 42 page report on my child from the psychotherapist, took time to ask us thoughtful questions and really understand my daughter and her diagnosis. He examined her, answered all our questions, all the while providing a lot of health teaching. We learned a lot from him. His advice was sound, and in my view, his approach to medication was very carefully considered. He explained his reasoning in a very accessible way, and thoughtfully answered our questions and concerns. He was honest about risks. I left feeling confident about the course of treatment, and with full trust that my child is in good hands.

I unfortunately was referred to Dr. Digravio. I didn’t find him helpful at all. He didn’t take the time to fully check my son and labelled him without a proper examination. I have gotten 2nd and third opinions since and none of them coincide with what Dr. Digravio said. I wouldn’t recommend him at all. His advice is outdated and makes no sense.

His secretary is also not very kind depending on the day. She is short with you over the phone and then suddenly nice in the office. My first appointment I waited 45min and my 2nd appointment we got in quickly. The office is outdated and feels like you’ve stepped back into the 90s

Dr Digravio seemed rushed and, as my son said “dialing it in”. The appointment was brief and I think he had decided what he thought was wrong before asking all of the relevant questions. He jumped to his conclusion and didn’t listen to us explain why it wasn’t appropriate- he only asked questions that confirmed his assumptions.
I think he was probably a great docto 10 years ago but it really feels like he’s half-listening and does not have an open mind to consider other diagnoses or treatments.

Not enough space to write all of what I would say about Dr. D. I have had him as a pediatrician for my kids for years, with the complex medical needs of my daughter and the mental health needs of my son. My number one praise is his ability to listen. When you have a complex medical kid who likes to do odd things, it helps to have someone listen and not dismiss concerns or patterns a parent sees.

Very condescending towards my teen daughter. Brushed everything off. Wouldn't recommend.

I took my child to see this doctor and honestly, I have mixed reviews. He did diagnose what my child had so I am really grateful for that however, he spent the rest of the appointment telling me about the covid vaccine. I realize he is a doctor but no respect for medical choice. He went on to tell me all of my kids shouldnt vaccinated, fine I appreciate the knowledge but then belittled me into thinking I had no clue. I talked about researching my own stuff and for the average individual, I can see how "research" could peeve a doctor off as everyone is google doctor now a days, however I am a Nurse and well educated in finding reliable sources and reading medical journals. I never once said I knew more than a Pediatrician. He is very knowledgeable however, I didnt care to listen to his rant. After lecturing me on the vaccine, he then went on to tell me that although it is safe it is not risk free. 50 children in Canada have died and 5000 or 8000 in the US(I dont recall the number he stated). 1 child is too many and Im not willing to take that risk. He also told me it only protects us for 6 months and then we have to revax. Again, I am an educated Nurse. Not more than a Pediatrician but I am educated. There is such thing as natural antibiodies. My kids have had covid 2x. Both times they were perfectly okay and honestly, it is known in children to survive COVID well because they have strong immune systems. They have natural antibodies which will be a bit more long term(not forever as variants change) than the vax. As the variants change, the vax has to adapt which will never be 100%, just like the flu shot isnt. Long story short, I was annoyed.

His staff is amazing and he is very knowledgeable. Two of my children been seen by him over the last 3 years. He is friendly and reassuring, while thorough. We have felt confident in his care of them.

Dr. DiGravio is a very caring doctor. He listens to the parents and offers them wonderful help. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He is always available by phone if you need to speak to him. I was very impressed with his practice and staff.

Beyond shocked by, maybe superficiality, lack of care and, unfortunately knowledge for sure.
I will not recommend even a consultation with this Pediatrician; not even the obvious blood results "speaks" to him.
You are wasting your child energy and time by visiting; you need to request a second opinion, as you will leave with no opinion of his, care plan, recommendations, nor an understanding of your child's health state, if you indeed have the best interest of your child in mind.
If you read this before meeting with him, please talk to your family doctor and request another doctor.
