The best! I trust him. He is respectful of you as a person and a patient. He has performed a complicated surgery on me with great results. I recommend him without hesitation.

Checked out the best I could Dr. Perra is one of the best I could find, total satisfaction, C2 break could not have had a better Dr. Thank God for Dr. Perra and his staff no regrets. Traveled over 700 miles and feel priviledged to have been his patient.

I wish I would have reviewed the ratings prior to seeing Dr. Perra. I have had chronic neck pain for 4+ years due to an accident. I have tried multiple treatment options and was told that I needed to modify my activities, and live with it. I am an extremely active person, and certainly not ready to hang things up ( I am young). Dr. Perra did not listen to me, or attempt to understand my lifestyle and goals 95% of the time he spent with me, was him rambling. His arrogance was apparent. I would not recommend Dr. Perra and am still upset. When did Drs stop listening to their patients?

I decided to see Dr. Perra for severe neck pain thats been going on for 3+ years after doing PT for a back issue. Somewhat disappointed during my visit. His PA was very helpful and pretty much did everything and when he came in he explained how I didn't need surgery and that everyone has pain and that I just have to learn how to deal with it... by telling my brain that its ok. I was so upset! I've been living with it for 3 years, theres a reason I'm looking for help! He seems knowledgeable but not really going to go out of his way unless you need surgery.

Dr. Perra is a great doctor. I am very happy with the results of my surgery and the follow up. I have friends that have had the same back surgery and once the doctor was done and paid, they never saw them again. I've been going to him for years and I have to admit that every appointment and even my surgery were late by at least an hour. This has cause some frustration but when he finally sees you, you get his full attention and time. I believe that's why his punctuality is so poor because unlike most doctors, he will spend the necessary time with every patient, even if your "15 min" are up. I'm willing to accept that because I know when it's my turn I will get the attention and care I need no matter how long it takes. I also have to comment on how great his nurse Julie is. She's been very helpful and attentive when I had questions or concerns and when Dr. Perra wasn't available.

I had chronic neck pain following a motor vehicle accident. Dr. Perra was _outstanding_. He took the time to answer all my questions, he obviously _cared_ about my recovery, and he was clearly expert. Having said this, my recommendation to other people with significant medical problems is to get several opinions: each doctor may hold a different piece of the solution. (Incidentally, an ER doctor and two attorneys all went out of their way to say that Dr. Perra was "outstanding," when I mentioned that I had seen him.)

I have been going to see Dr. Perra for almost 10 years and I love seeing him. He is always willing to listen and discuss my needs. Unlike the other person who rated him, I have never seen his phone ring or feel like he was not able to talk to me. The clinic he is part of is extreamly busy and most of the time it is not Dr. Perra's fault that he can not see you soon enough-He is a specilty doctor-not a general physcian. He is great!

For a routine exam, I waited 1.5 hours from the time my appt was scheduled to the time Dr. Perra met with me. The second visit I had this year (after being diagnosed with a very painful herniated disc) it not only took me 3 weeks to get an appoinment, but when there, I waited 2 hours to see him. In the middle of the 2nd visit his phone when off TWICE. He might be knowlegdable, but his is disconnected from the patient. He doesn't take the time to make sure you understand what's going on. He runs his clinic like a business. I am very seriously thinking about switching.
