Saw doctor three times over the course of 3 yrs.Always rushed never listened When I tried to convey what I was experiencing with a prescribed drug I was taking, Loomer started minimizing the situation by stating, that it wasn’t. Big deal because I didn’t pass out or lose consciousness. When working with insurance the individuals working there had NO idea what they were doing and inept doesn’t even cover how frustrating the office staff was. Kept submitting the same prescription that I kept getting denied for. There are no phone lines to the Tucson office, you need to talk to someone in Phoenix who has NO idea who you are after sitting on hold for over an hour. I got a call from someone in the Phoenix office telling me for the third time that my insurance denied my prescription and that I had a choice of these medications she rattled off to me. I did not feel comfortable talking with some office staff in Phoenix who doesn’t know who I am help
Me choose an alternative drug. Isn’t that a decision to be discussed with a healthcare provider? Overall I felt helpless, concerned that my medical issues were not taken seriously, rushed and was not given any opportunity to voice my concerns about my health and the treatment for my condition. When you are driving home from a Loomer appointment in tears because I felt like every appointment is a debate , there is something terribly wrong. I will NOT be going back.

Dr, Loomer is very knowledgeable, personable and very thorough with my condition of needs. He is also very patient and good listener. His staffs are very friendly and kind and very helpful.

From the moment of my first encounter with the receptionist I knew this experience would be a good one. The young woman who took my vitals was considerate and pleasant. The Nurse Practitioner who performed my initial assessment was thorough and patient. Dr. Loomer performed an exam and proceeded to answer ALL my questions. His explanations regarding my treatment options were clear and informative. I so appreciate his patience and willingness to help me understand my options. I am so grateful for my experience with Dr. Loomer and his staff.

Dr. Loomer was incredible! He listened to me and did more for me in 1 visit than my previous pcp has done in over a year. I finally feel like I'll be able to get answers for my health issues! He was extremely respectful and put me completely at ease.

Bad reaction to medication and acted like I was lying to him about it. Saw another doctor wow! What a difference. Numbers don’t always tell you how a patient is feeling. How about you listen to them and see their overall well-being.

I have found Dr. Loomer to listen carefully to my symptoms & then follow up with lab work & xrays to determine medication. He also followed up after medication with lab work to be sure my liver was not being damaged. Very pleased with him.

If he is in a good mood, he can seem very caring. However.... if he is behind and rushed he simply has no time for you and doesn't listen to anything new and won't explain anything. Will be looking to go elsewhere.

Doctor Loomer is everything a doctor should be. I have been taking my mother who suffers from arthritis and dementia to her appointments for a few years and I highly recommend him and his staff. He is professional, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and most of all he takes the time to listen to my mother's and my concerns. My mother always looks forward to her appointments because she leaves feeling refreshed. Doctor Loomer and his staff are in a class above and beyond the rest. Thank You Dr. Loomer!

we are so glad we found Dr Loomer . He has done wonderful things for my husband .My husband could hardly move and was in such pain .Dr loomer worked hard on his behalf to help. And helped us get an infusions that have done wonders for him...our only complaint would be that because of out of office call in take it can be very hard to reach his office. Or get callbacks. You will be on hold for some time. And they can not give you any help
