Dr Aviv is an amazing doctor. I go to see him for Acid Reflux and he is just the perfect cognascenti and is a wealth of information. I wish i knew him years ago, as its virtually impossible to find someone like him. Very friendly, Takes a lot of time to explain the etiology of the problem, puts you in the best network of other specialist not in his immediate ambit. Gives you this assurance that you are not drowning.. I am so lucky to be in NYC to go see him.

I came from Canada to see him. I read his book and knew he could help me with my perennially sore throat which depressed me. The specialists I had previously seen did not seem interested. Dr. Aviv zeroed in on my problem and told me how to get better. A brilliant doctor! I feel blessed to have seen him.

Had a raspy voice, had to clear my throat often, and hypersalivation, Dr. Aviv is an excellent clinician who developed a care plan for treating my symptoms. Had several office visits since February and make a good recovery through diet and medications which are gradually decreased. Like so many of his patient's his Acid Watcher book was actually very effective in reducing over all inflammation. My final phase of treatment is to see a voice therapist to strengthen my voice . Highly recommend.

I visited Dr. Aviv because of the serious symptoms of Acid Reflux Disease. He told me exactly what was wrong, and how to handle my condition. I found his assessment very helpful and reassuring. I would recommend his book "The Acid Watcher's Diet" for those who want to know the science behind this condition, how diet can help to alleviate it.
I will recommend Dr. Aviv to friends and family.
