Dr. Veillette performed elbow surgery on me because it went undiagnosed from a hospital in Vaughan. He did everything he could to make sure I could use my arm again even when I was giving up. His bedside manner was fantastic and even took the time to come see me during my overnight stay when he was not working. Very knowledgeable! So grateful that he was able to give me back full functionality.

This doctor is adequate if all you require is a surgical technician. In my one-year follow-up to a shoulder arthroplasty, there was absolutely zero interest in how my recovery was going, and no suggestions for continued course of action or care. My questions were answered in the most perfunctory of manner, and in one instance, a concern that I raised was dismissed in a rather rude manner. If I had a choice, I certainly would not have selected this doctor to do my surgery.

I have EDS and he is knowledgeable. But beware he I is bound by TWH administration meaning he can’t recommend safe recovery if you have EDS. He has to spew the hospital after care which is dangerous for EDS patients. He repaired my shoulder but have a good sling and bring with you. And see ur EDS physio and follow their plan not his. He is got at the surgery part.

Dr Velllette is wonderful doctor whom is extremely competent at his craft. He performed a distal bicep rupture surgery appr 5 years ago and I feel great. 5 years later I ruptured my long head bicep and he performed surgery and one year later my arm feels incredible. If you are fortunate to have Dr V work on you be grateful he is the best. Thank you!!

Rude, arrogant and has no beside manner. If he had done my surgery properly I wouldn’t care about his lack of empathy but he did such a poor job I needed to have the surgery redone. I went somewhere else and the new doctor was great and she redid what was needed. If I would have stayed with dr, veilette I would have continued to have severe pain and I would not be able to use my arm. Awful,awful, awful.

I had 2 elbow surgeries done after a fracture, but was still not able to move it properly. Dr. V did my third surgery and fixed my elbow. I am now able to move it properly and can play basketball again. Thank you, Dr. V for fixing my elbow and making the recovery process as easy as it can be. I very much recommend this surgeon for your elbow issues.

Dr.V repaired both of my rotator cuffs. Left shoulder fully recovered and rehabing the right one now post surgery. Dr.V and staff were amazing throughout the process. So far my right shoulder is progressing nicely after 6 weeks.

Didn’t even take the time to properly analyze the issue and clearly missed the fact that existing imaging was insufficient. Save yourself the trouble and skip him.
