This office is a disaster! They don’t answer the phone and won’t return calls when you leave a message. Dr. Ramirez requires lots of additional testing whether it’s been done recently or not. She’ll send you for MRI’s, biofeedback and expensive vitamins which don’t help. There is no cure for what I have and I have suffered for almost 50 years with pain 24/7. She was trying to reinvent the wheel and couldn’t. She want to try things that I had already tried that didn’t work. It was a waste of time with a woman who had absolutely no compassion. All I needed was to be comfortable and get some semblance of my life back. That’s what she promised in the beginning but then she started to reduce my meds to the point where I couldn’t function and spent the majority of my time in a recliner. She’s got absolutely no compassion! She’s rude and doesn’t listen to you.

Dr Diaz Ramirez has been a godsend! After several years seeking lower back pain relief in Northern Virginia, and many treatments from many pain medicine doctors, my mother recommended a visit to her doctor here in Sarasota. I have been seeing Dr Diaz Ramirez since 2018. Over the past 3 years, she has patiently listened to my complaints (pain) and tried multiple modalities. Success was reached with a Nevro Spinal Stimulator. My pain medicines have been greatly reduced and I’m out of bed. We even travelled last summer to visit family and friends. Dr Diaz Ramirez has returned quality to my life!

I've been seeing Dr Diaz for a number of years and she is truly a wonderful doctor to have. She always has new ideas if something isn't working for me. She is the only doctor that was willing to see me when I moved from NY and I'm glad to have her as my doctor.

Dr Diaz is a very knowledgeable pain specialist, but the office that handles the day to day operations is a mess! Communications is horrible, they can never relay a message to the doctor and they very seldom reply to a message in a prompt fashion! If you have an issue that needs a somewhat quick resolution, you are pretty much SOL!! They'll get the message to the doctor when it's convenient for them, if you have a problem on a Friday, don't expect for it to be resolved until Monday, and that's if you're lucky!

Overbooked, long waits, too many office visits & procedures to make money. Avoid.

It would be nice if she was nice to all and not racist to other minorities as herself; mocking innocent people and having her employees join in along with her; I had thought with her being Mexican; That she would know just how hard it is as a minority. She claims to be a Christian at that, NOT! with that behavior.

Been treated by 5 pain doctors, every type of procedure there is, none as good as Dr. Ramirez. Kind, caring and the best with injections, epidurals and I have had dozens done by many others , she is the best. So if you are in pain all I can say is Dr Ramirez is great. Finds the cause of pain and works to get you pain free as possible, she has helped and been so kind , most of all best at surgical procedures of many different Dr's I have been to over 15 years of chronic pain, she is by far the best.

Dr Diaz-Ramirez is a gift for any patient. She is professional, caring, excellent at her work, attentive and a rarity in this age of medicine.
I would have lost my toe without her treatment and follow-through.
I cannot adequately state how awesome she is as a doctor. I would and will recommend her to everyone.

I totally disagree with the poor review noted on this site. Dr. Diaz gave me her utmost attention and was very understanding and compassionate the 1 st time I met her. She took her time to explain everything to me and reviewed all my records and diagnostics. She completed a thorough exam and before I left her office she made sure all my questions were answered & made sure I understood what was explained to me. My spouse was with me and she also answered all his questions and we never felt rushed and I think I was her last patient of the day. I couldn't have asked for a more complete visit from this physician. She came highly recommended and I would also recommend her to friends, family and anyone else that needs a pain management specialist.
